After repeatedly topping the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s list of most stolen cars in recent years, the Dodge Charger has been replaced in the top 20 of this year’s study by another muscle car.

GM is issuing a recall for more than 132,000 Chevrolet and GMC heavy-duty trucks over an issue with the tailgate.

This year’s study is based on responses from 99,144 buyers and lessees of new model-year 2024 vehicles, and respondents were surveyed 90 days after acquiring their vehicles.

A recall for more than 323,200 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD pickups is out over the risk of unwanted tailgate openings.

Pricing is now out for the revised 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty pickup trucks.

While it offers some performance enhancements, the refreshed 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 takes aim at an area it has neglected: off-roading.
