Indescribable, to say the least
Comfort: For 1998, I'd say it's quite good, and that 5-speed manual makes it quite fun. Personally, I'd modify my car a bit, but it's still quite good. Performance: 140 horsepower is more than enough to move this 2700lb sedan to 62mph in just below 9 seconds, so that's good enough for me right there. It actually almost feels even quicker than the Accord. Exterior: Very nice-looking front headlights. I love the coupe-like profile, and you can barely even tell it's an Acura/Honda from looking at it for 5 seconds without noticing badges, and that's why I like it a lot. Interior Design: I honestly don't know what to say. It's definitely way more simple than those xxxxty modern car interiors that look way too fancy for me. Value: I bought it for just $300, so that's a steal right there. Reliability: A few parts don't work, but I can easily get aftermarkets, so that's a good thing. 159,000 miles, and that little engine can definitely last another hundred thousand.

Perform routine maintenance & it will last FOREVER
DOUBLE-WISHBONE suspension front & rear, along with 4 wheel anti-lock DISC brakes...combined with FANTASTIC ENGINES make these cars sporty, economical, practical, easily maintained...& FUN TO DRIVE!!! Best when paired with a manual transmission, although still good with an automatic.

Is a fine car but its price was too much
I purchased a used 1998 acura integra with a lot of options and under 15k miles. I'm a big guy, 6'3" and big-boned, with two younger children that require car seats. There is still some room behind me with the seat backed up all of the way. The features and smart key are a nice touch. I am used to a V-6 AWD vehicle, so it has taken some time getting used to the slower acceleration in normal or ECO mode. In Sport mode, the acceleration is good. I really like the looks of this car. It just stinks you have to go to the Sport or Limited model to get dark interiors, but I'll deal with it

The best
It's a really good car and really reliable, the stylish spoiler makes it perfect and the black color is beautiful but is a little worn out.

First car I've ever had
This car was passed along from my sister - who got it brand new in 98. I received this car in 2010 with 175,000 miles on it and it currently has 208,000 miles. One of my rear brake lights and the cigarette lighter went out six months ago and has been fixed since. A year after I got it, the distributor cap burnt off (it cost about $500 to fix) no biggie but no big problems since that mishap. I absolutely love this car and it's still running smoothly. I'm gonna make this baby last for as long as I can!!

Love It. Wish they still made them.
I've got a 1998 Integra RS, 2 door, 5 speed. 173k and still going strong. A/C still blowing cold air. Done regular maintenance...oil, air filter, tires, tuneups, belts (100k) and etc. Had the master cylinder head on the clutch go (only cost me $80 to fix). Had to replace the catalytic converter ($1200). She still runs like a champ. Might try for 300k?

An Amazing Car
I bought my 1998 GS-R hatchback in 2001 with 50K miles on it. Since then I've put on another 120K. This is the best car I've ever owned. It accelerates well, handles well, gets excellent mpg, and has been super reliable. Other than a timing belt replacement at 105K, clutch replacement at 135K, tires, and regular oil changes, I've had to put very little money into this car. I get asked by people all the time if I want to sell it but my answer is "not a chance".

Amazing car!
I owned a 1998 Integra GS-R as my third Honda in 7 years and it is amazing! Never had any problems even after 145K miles. Perfect for any import enthusiast to modify or for anybody looking for a nice daily driver. Great gas mileage!
