Best car I ever bought.

by buschg1 from Jefferson City, Missouri on Sat Oct 05 2019

This suv drives like a sports car. It handles and has lots of power. I bought it last year and it was a one owner car and was taken care of. She was elderly and serviced it regularly. It is such a great ride and I hope that it will last me a very long time because I enjoy driving it.

Great SUV

by Car Lover from Philadelphia, PA on Mon Apr 18 2011

The MDX is a great car. It's a huge step up from the RDX, which is also a great car. Performance, comfort and utility are all well balanced. As most of the Pro-Reviewers point out, the controls, buttons, and guages could be a little more intuitive, but once you figure out the "Acura" logic it becomes easier.

So far the safest vehicle I've owned.

by BuffyS. from Kearns, Utah on Sat Mar 03 2018

So far so good. It's quiet, comfortable, drives really nice. It has great bells and whistles That I need to learn to play with and set up. Lots of room for people or pets.

Most miles I've ever gotten out of a vehicle

by BRIan from Penfield, NY on Sat Oct 21 2017

Technology well ahead of other vehicles of the time. This 10 year old SUV has features that new vehicles still don't. Incredible reliability with normal expected maintenance.

Reliable

by rich from atlanta, ga on Sun Aug 20 2017

The MDX provides Acura quality and performance. Even though the car is 10 years old, it still looks brand new and rides well on the road.

2007 MDX-exceeds expectations

by MDX Man from York, SC on Tue Sep 27 2011

Purchased bumper to bumper warranty. Very satisfied overall. Stereo excellent. XM a bonus. Mileage dropped from 21 mpg to 12.5 while towing golf cart on 5x10 trlr. Seats very confortable. Would have preferred driver arm rest as in Escallade. I am not using voice commands.

The most value for the money for a luxury SUV

by EmemJay from Boston,MA on Fri Mar 03 2017

2007 MDX is one of the best best value. The interior is nicely equipped. Very pleasant family car, especially with the technology+entertainment package. Auto dimming rear-view mirror and rain sensing vipers were dearly missed in this model.

Truly a drivers SUV

by Mark D from Clackamas, OR on Fri Jan 19 2007

The 300hp engine is alert and handling is flawless. The redesigned body grows on you even if your not blown away at first glance. The layout of instruments is well thought out. One thing I found refreshing is the standard features. This is a well equiped vehicle. However, some options, like the rear view mirror dimmer should be standard. For 40k, I believe it to be a very good value in a class of SUV's including the Volvo xc 90, Lexus 330, and even the BMW X5. Summary. If you test drive this vehicle, you may be quickly forgetting other SUV's you test drove before this one.

Our Take on the 2007 Acura MDX

The MDX, Acura’s seven-passenger, three-row luxury SUV, has been completely re-engineered and redesigned for the first time since its 2001 debut. A Cars.com Best Bet for as long as we’ve awarded the honor, the MDX was ahead of the curve in this category, offering seven seats as standard equipment and luring buyers away from the Lexus RX (which still has only five). My one-day drive of the 2007 model revealed that the MDX retains all the positive attributes for which Acuras are renowned and improves upon many performance aspects. It strays into risky styling territory and takes at least one ergonomic step backward.

As before, the Acura MDX is a single trim level, leaving option packages to... Read More
