Horrible transmission

Have had to have it towed 3 times to dealer due to transmission problems. 2nd tow had new transmission put in with less than 5,000 miles on it. Transmission warning light came on again for a 3rd time and had to have it towed. Now waiting, while driving a rental, to see what Acura company is going to do about it. Very sad that this could happen with a new car. Wife likes the car but has fears when driving it that it’ll break down. The car has nice features but just isn’t very safe when transmission warning lights come on and tell you to pull over immediately and don’t drive it. Especially if it happens in a dark seedy area which is exactly what happened to my wife the 1st time.

Best value for the money on the market

We have purchased Honda vehicles for years and stepped up to the Acura. We compared to Mercedes, Audi and other high end cars. Standard features were typically add on at the other manufacturers that raised the price. Reliability of the MDX is legendary.

MDX Advance Model is comfortable especially onLTri

This car is good for four people without loosing its comfort zone. However for long trips with six or seven passengers, there is very little cargo room.If you sell this car for six or seven people at least for future models increase the length by at least a foot to provide some cargo capacity.I had this car for only a month, it is working for me without issues. The problem here is that you are making a medium sized SUV to work as a full sized SUV and you are loosing cargo space with seven or six passenger.

I didn?t enjoy the MDX

I sold this vehicle before the second anniversary and went back to a Toyota Highlander Platinum. The Acura rode and shifted rough. It had some features that I liked, but I still prefer the Highlander Platinum

Like Riding in your Front Livingroom

Reliable, comfortable and very quiet. Excellent vehicle for long road trips or just commuting to work. I love that the car has such a short turning radius and the backup camera is indispensable.

Comfortable traveling SUV with plenty of storage

I have owned two MDX models and love them. The seats are plush, the cabin is quiet, the ride quality is fantastic, and it really presents itself as a tremendous value in the class. I loved the remote start and seat ventilation as well!
