2011 Acura RDX consumer reviews

Best Ever. 260,000 miles. Faults, Front Axles and universal, good for 60,000 miles, P2263 check engine alarm due to part failure for turbo actuator. I have bought 6 front axles for this vehicle. It will not pass vehicle inspection with the check engine alarm.

Besides a bad ax condenser, in 200k miles I haven’t had any problems. That’s hard to find nowadays. Quite an amazing vehicle if you ask me

I ended up with my RDX while on vacation in Alabama. My trans went out on my MDX and so with the opportunity, I downsized to the RDX. The car performed wonderful for the 8 years 194K that I owned it. I did religiously fill it up with the premium gas that was required due to the turbo. I kept it maintained as required and the only issue that I had with this vehicle was after I replace the tires for the 1st time with RDX recommended tires, the car would shake when accelerating between 40 - 60. This only happened when accelerating. Changing tire, aligning, nothing really ever fixed this. Even after I changed the tires for the 2nd time and went with different brand RDX recommended tires I would still get the vibration, not as bad, but it still was not a smooth ride. So, if gas prices and taxes did not continue to rise, I would probably still be driving my RDX. But in my getting older age, I opted to trade out for a hybrid. Loved my Acura!

I owned this Acura for over 2 years, and loved it. The turbo was responsive and fun to drive and I never had any mechanical defects with the vehicle. I owned this vehicle from 50K miles through 90K. It was great in the snow and rain, and never let me down.

I would buy this car if I had the money to. lol ? has a few extra points and the best app I?ve gotta it now lol ? has the most beautiful

I love driving this vehicle and it is very comfortable to drive. The sales staff at McGrath Acura in Libertyville, IL were very helpful and accommodating and it was a very pleasant sales experience. I am quite pleased with my vehicle's low mileage and have a son with the same vehicle that is a 2007 and his RDX has 180,000 miles and he has had no major auto issues.

Except I wanted something with a more comfortable and quiet ride. Other then that it was a very reliable vehicle. It handled great even in the snow and rain. If you don't need a large SUV then this is a great choice. And the newer ones have some nicer upgrades and features. I may go back to an Acura in the future!

The turbo booster has to be replaced & cost 5,000 & can only be purchased from Acura. If not replaced the car will not pass emissions.

I love this car. Besides being great looking and comfortable, it handled so well in the snow and on icy roads. Gas mileage wasn't great but it is worth it.

Reliable AWD vehicle, good handling, lower cost than RX350. A little lower to the ground than many AWD SUV's. Better mileage than MDX. Seats are comfortable. This is good alternative if you want AWD yet want the handling more comparable to a car!
