2012 Acura TL consumer reviews

I bought my car in 2016 with 40k miles on it. I've owned it for 9 years and it now has 183k miles on it! The engine still purs like a kitten after all these years. It's a very reliable car with plenty of power and awesome performance, especially around the corners! It's a really fun car to drive and I look forward to adding plenty more enjoyable miles to it! Worth every penny!!

Purchased 6/21 with 200K miles. Put another 20K miles on it since. Interior/Exterior are immaculate. 6 speed manual shifts smoother that any car I've owned. In almost 50 years of driving, I have never owned a car that was this comfortable, fun to drive "spiritedly" and almost bulletproof reliable. It really is everything I could possibly ask from an under $10K car and then some. Needless to say, with any high mileage, 10 year old car, it did require some servicing and maintenance to get it back to a "close to like new" condition. Changed all fluids, spark plugs, filters and brake pads/rotors. Replaced entire suspension, since it was all original. Will be replacing the timing belt/water pump soon, only because I have no idea on when they were last replaced. The only downside is that burns little over half a quart of oil every 1K miles. Supposedly, that is an issue with the Acura 3.7l motors, due to the unique cylinder sleeves. Still, compression and leak down test numbers are within spec. For such a high mileage engine, I'm not complaining. One thing I know for sure, my estate will have to deal with this car because I will never sell it. PERIOD!

This is hands down the best Acura TL! My first one was the base model which is FWD with a 3.5 L engine, but the SH-AWD Technology package with the 3.7L is a beast and super fun to drive! A very reliable car, with little to no issues at all. Hot collectors car for enthusiasts who are not a fan of the new TLX. 100% recommend!

The handling and power of an all wheel drive manual, (SH-AWD), makes this car the most enjoyable ride I've ever owned. Sadly manual is almost extinct these days. Don't ever dare sell her because I may never experience a quality ride that the newer cars don't seem to deliver for the price.

Great vehicle with low miles for the year. I don't want to get rid of this car. Super sporty and a great driving vehicle. Very Quick. Only moving away from it because I'm needing a truck for work.

Excellent vehicle for someone who wants a fun performance car to enjoy their driving experience. This has been the most reliable vehicle I ever purchased.

Wish it had USB charging plugs, little short in read seat for tall friends. I am very proud of my TL. It fun, plenty of Power. Great interior.

Car is serviced very 5000 miles after over 1000000 miles it still does not need new breaks and has been the best car I have ever owned Acura should have never stop making this model

Recent purchase and I am in love. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Sporty look and a powerful engine. The only downside is it takes premium gas and the v6 kills the MPG
