At 36,000 miles

Great handling car, nothing to do, dependable, have driven for 14 months 36,000 miles. So far so good. OEM times lasted a year, no flats.

I hate run flat tires

This care is perfect except for the tires. Awesome acceleration, handling and finish. Nice luxury and techie touches in the cabin. But the run flat tires have two problems. First, they're hard, so you feel every pothole on the road. Second, they break easily and are expensive to replace ($300 per tire). I had to replace my first tire after only 6000 miles. If the car had room for a spare in the trunk, I'd swap out all four tires. Alas, it does not. Please BMW, stop using run flats. Please!

Another Thorough Bred

This car lives up to the company?s slogan, "the ultimate driving machine". The handling is very solid with an almost 50/50 weight distribution. The car seems to pivot around the driver when taking turns. The brakes are very responsive and don't show any sign of fade with hard braking. The interior design could do with a bit more storage space, but this is not a priority since people buy this car for its sportiness not its storage availability. The I-Drive, with all its negative publicity, performs very well, but does take a bit of getting used to. It does however, lack the ability to reverse or go back one step which can be frustrating. The seats, in the sport package edition, can be a little narrow for some wider people, but the bolsters do have some adjustment. I'd most definitely recommend this car to people as a very good value for your money buy, especially when taking into consideration the free 4 year maintenance warranty. I'd also recommend considering the European Delivery Program if buying new, as this could save you upwards of $5000 on the price of the car, which easily pays for your trip. Well worth it.
