A practical but not so practical car

I love this car. However, as a commuter (and changing from an Audi A6) it is painful on gas mileage but beautiful on performance. Hit the Sport Mode, defeat the traction control and burn rubber baby!!! Sitting in traffic reminds you of the comfort of the Audi seats over the sporty BMW seats. The back seats are for kids, angry mother in laws and people you want to unfriend - these were not designed for the average adult in mind. I'm a 6 footer and nothing will fit behind me except my briefcase or lunch bag. Sleek, sexy, sporty but remember that it is German and costly to maintain and more expensive to repair. Set aside a slush fund for a rainy day, according to other owners you will eventually need it!!!! Until then, drive happy and drive fast!!!!

Very nice but not so practical 2 door

I wanted a more powerful and sexier car after commuting in an Audi A6 and found it in the BMW 650i. The car is just a typical BMW - performance monster with great aesthetics and status symbolism. Be prepared to shell out mucho dollars for most medium to major repairs. The rear tires wear very quickly on the insides due to company camber setup for maximum traction so prepare to purchase new rear rubber every 2 years. Deceptive speed, great looks and a smile on my face says this purchase was worth the high repair costs and so-so gas mileage (It is a V-8!). If you like your friends, do not ask them to ride in the back seat for anything longer than 15 minutes - that may be a deal breaker.

6 series is the best series, hands down

The 650i we purchased is the best vehicle we have purchased. We have had Fords and Infinitis and Mercedes in the Family. Mercedes and BMW go hand in hand though. These model BMW though is the perfect mixture of speed, looks and quality. When you get a BMW, you know what you are getting, and this model doesn't disappoint. It has tons of power, that when in SPORT MODE, will literally plant you on the headrests. So far, the suspension is spectacular, just hugging corners at high speeds. It accelerates when we need it to, and it just coasts so smooth that you can barely feel the road. In the first couple of weeks, I have had some many compliments on the vehicle and even one who offered to buy it from me; but I declined :) We got a great deal because I did my research. So make sure you know the features the car has, how they are supposed to function etc.
