Most sporty and luxurious car I have owned.

The car look like a sedan but drives like a race car. It is a lot more beefy than the 5-series rivals but can take the turns like it is on rails. The engine sounds great and the power (especially in M-Drive) is unmatched.

best overall vehicle I've ever been in

it's the only vehicle I've ever owned that gives me a hug when I get in it. My only complaint is that there's no where in Atlanta to open her up.

BADDEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED

Bad (in a good way) is the word to describe my M5. I've done a few modifications to my car. It's even faster now. When people ask "is that the 500hp model?" I say "and then some"... How fast is the car? I backed it down at 197mph and it still wanted to go. You have now idea how fun it is to go to the track and race a corvette... And beat it! Owning a M5 has been a life long dream for me. I may never get rid of it.

4 Door Sedan 0-60 in 4.5 secs

A 4 door sedan that gets you from 0- 60 in less then 5 secs. WOW. The I-Drive is a pleasure. The Sound System is great. Oh and free service for 4 years or 50k. On a SPORTS car.

least reliable bimmer!

I have owned 6 bimmers in the last 10yrs, must say the 05 645ci and 06 M5 are the worst. not in the sense as lemons, but the mentioned two were both SMG with I-DRIVE . BMW should have introduced dual clutch on these cars. They drive like a buggy in town. and the i-drive is going to be the death of BMW, unless they get rid of it. I got rid of my M5 after just 3600 miles , it had been in shop for a SMG failure at only 1000 miles and yaw sensor failure at 2500 miles. the electronics are going to collapse in these cars. I miss my '98 540i.
