We bought for safety for our family. We live BMW cars as they drive like no other, sold out 5-series as we needed 4wd for snow!

This car gives me the room I need to haul my growing family, decent gas mileage for an SUV while also being fun to drive. The 3 liter Inline 6 cylinder won't break any land speed records but it's got plenty of pep to quickly get up to speed. The 6 speed automatic shifts so smoothly that it's barely noticeable. It came with a roof rack and a full size spare. Inside it has all the creature comforts you would expect from a BMW. Heated leather seats, panoramic sunroof, 12 way adjustable front seats, 3 driver memory presets, in-dash DVD navigation, Bluetooth phone connectivity and a cassette deck. Yes, a cassette tape deck. The lack of storage is probably my biggest complaint. There are 2 cup holders in the center console and a small storage area under the arm rest. Overall I am very happy with it and look forward to any chance I get to drive it.

BMW is a great brand in general, but I love the X5 specifically. Comfortable, safe, and luxurious. Great for long road trips and even just around town. Dependable!

This vehicle is so easy to drive, I tend to like speed, and this car has it without a doubt. Its very comfortable to sit in and love the heated seat and steering wheel in the winter time!!!! Large cargo, can load a bale of hay or a 50" bag of mulch...Very versatile. This car is also very reliable, and gets great mileage on freeway long distance driving. It's clean and neat...

I looked at a lot of SUV's and wasn't happy until I sat in this one. It feels like a substantial luxury vehicle. It drives beautifully and can haul a lot of things and people. I love the heated seats and steering wheel. They make all the difference in the winter! I love the sun roof especially because you can open it without exposing the interior to the sun so that when you park it the heat can escape.

Great performance, reliable and powerful, I think from now and then will always be a bmw guy I guess they will even be better with every year that comes out to market

I think bmw x5 is one of the best car that I ever have my self Is comfortable, powerful and has all the necessary things to make my ride better I will definitely buy an other x5 without a doubt

I was so upset when my x5 was totaled. hands down the best car ive ever owned. I will be getting another one very soon ..maybe the same model or Ill try a new model
