Not too good for a $70,000 SUV
Loved the design and performance more than any BMW I owned previously. The strapped-on retro-fitted exhaust recirculation system, designed to pass strict US emissions standards, really killed the otherwise great engine shortly after the warranty expired. Sold it back to dealer (after >$10K out of pocket repairs) who sent it to auction 5 years after it was put into service. BMW of NA essentially said "too bad, not our problem". Stay away.

Most enjoiable and practical car I ever drove!
The X5 is a great car for all types of uses, from commuting and business representation, to transporting family and going on road trips. The X5 is very comfortable and fun to drive car and BMW's slogan "Ultimate Driving Machine" is very fitting.

Best buying experience
We knew what we were looking for when we started out. Drove into the lot, nervous of the infamous icky car salesmen. Found the car we wanted and the rest was history. Everyone here was helpful, easy to work with, not pushy, and gave us room to think and decide. The buying process was smooth. The vehicle was in great condition, very clean.

Cool car.
Dependable vehicle. Love all its features. Comfortable, powerful. friendly to operate, Lots of safety details....I purchased a used 2011 BMW X5 with a lot of options and under 100k miles. The features and smart key are a nice touch. I am used to a V-6 AWD vehicle, In Sport mode, the acceleration is good. I really like the looks of this car.

Lemon
I have owned two 3 series and loved them in and out. But when i took the jump to an x5 with cold weather, tec, and sport sports packages i knew i would be happy for years to come. WrOnG!!!! Key advice do not let your warranty run out. My x5 2011 x5 only has 90k with over 24k in warranty repairs. 11 repairs in 4 years insainly broken.

BMW says it all
This is my 3rd BMW, and the first used one. As soon as I got in the drivers seat, I felt like I was in my 430I, so it was immediately familiar and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the difference in the performance from my 430, the X5 definitely has the edge in acceleration. The one I bought has wider than stock tires, so it can corner a little more aggressively, and for an SAV (SUV) it holds corners well. The only regret is the lack of a sat radio, but I have a spare that plugs into the aux jack. And thanks BMW for the massive cargo space and the rear hatch and lower door! Very convenient when you have roller equiped suitcases or equipment boxes.

Reliable, very good engine (V6), low maintenance
X5 35i has a great engine unlike the V8, as long as you do your regular maintenance vehicle will run for ever. Steering is a bit hard for a female, but guys will love it.
