Still enjoying this car after 10 years

Bought this car after much research and found it had been on the market for 2 years in Europe as an Opel Astra. Would normally not buy a new model first year. Other than regular maintenance and some known issues, I’ve been extremely pleased. Today at 55k miles, it still feels an drives just as solid as it did many years ago. The oils burning issue has been a known problem of which I have not experienced. Overall I’m very satisfied with this vehicle and look forward to running it for many more years!

burns oil from 160000km on.

burns oil has 2300000km now burns a quart of oil every 5000km. Gm needs to make better motors. replaced both sensors on motor but made no difference.

Very nice for an older car

This car is immaculate for its age. Rides great, this car is going to be a good starter car for my daughter to get back and forth from school and work.

I Love This Car

I went from an Accord Coupe to the Buick because I wanted a 4 door. I saw this on the dealer's lot and was sold. I have had no issues and the Verano is great looking inside and out and loaded with features. I was a little slow to get used to the 4 cylinder but the gas mileage is great, overall there is not a great deal of room in the backseats but overall it is a great vehicle.

Loved it....I just needed something a bit bigger.

Great car! Love it, I just needed something larger and higher (back issues). But runs great and looks good! Fantastic gas mileage, easy to drive in the snow and ice.

Nice car to own

I loved driving the car. Nice looking inside and out. Had no major problems. The only issue I had was I drove a red one and the paint started to fade on the hood, top, and truck. I always thought it was because the car may have been wreck and had a bad paint job done. After I traded it in on another vehicle I started seeing other red Buick Veranos with the same fading. Other than that I loved the car.

not built for long term

I'm not going to lie, I love this car, it's style is sleek and its comfortable. Great on mileage. Keep in mind its a compact car.... Let's get to the performance, runs good expect when its needs oil change it will start to run slow and no pick up. At 99,000 miles that's when the trouble came. FIRST, it was the check engine light (cam shaft) Second, 4 weeks later it died. Need new engine! need i say anymore.

favorite car for a long time

This car was luxury and reliable. I needed to sell mine because I needed a bigger car for work which is unfortunate because I absolutely love this car and the look and feel of it.

Disappointed because this car is a lemon and the d

Lemon....engine, trans, a/c/ gas guzzler, very uncomfortable seats, many warning lights always something going out, brakes, bad handling, steering, noisy, very poorly made and cheapest material, overpriced, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I loved this car.

Beautiful car. This car was awesome for the 7 years I owned it. No mechanical issues at all. It drove and rode wonderful. The driver seat was very comfortable and supporting.
