2017 Cadillac ATS consumer reviews

We purchased the car in March 2017. The first time we took it in for service was April 2018 the were able to fix most everything except the squeaky brakes, not too happy about that. Of course it has done it even since then. The next time we took the car back in December of 2018 we had a horrible smell in the car which they supposedly fixed said it was mold in the duct work. We did also had to pay for this service which we really didn’t think it was right. We should we be changed for their design flaws? The fix/remedy only lasted a short time. We’re going to take the car back soon for service & a recall. Since we have had the car we have noticed many different problems with the electronics & swishing sounds in the steering. The Cue panel will sometimes not even come on & l can’t get it to do anything. The lights on the shifter go out on it, when we drive the car at times it feels like we’re driving over a rumble strip. For a supposedly luxury car, it’s far from it!

Beautiful, sporty, and luxurious. Great comfort and performance. It is a great investment and well worth the money. It is reliable and comes with a great warranty and service plan from manufacturer

This car has met our needs as a driver and as a family, safety features and reviews are fantastic. This is a great car to travel around town or for trips.

This is a better car than we ever hoped to have. Looked at lots of other Cadillacs but this was the best car for the best deal.

Beautiful inside and out, plenty of leg room up front, a little tight in the back seat but hey I don't ride back there. The infotainment system takes some getting used to but the handling and performance more than make up for it.

Owning this car is a blast while on the road. I have the 2016 3.6 engine with magnetic ride control and it is just a wonderful car to dive especially on curvy roads. It does everything i could need from a car. The negative side with mine was the issues i keep having. I didn’t have any issues with the cue system that many complain about, accept a couple of freezing scenarios and had to do a hard reset twice. After 30 000 kilometers the car needed an entire new torque converter and apparently this issue is a more common problem with this model. The car would hesitate and jerk when driving arround 80kmh at arround 1500-2000rpm. At 40 000 kilometers the oil pump had to be replaced. Now at 47 000 kilemeters the entire differential has to be replaced after i started having a whining noise from the back. I still love driving it as it is soo much fun and the interior is such a great place to be in but I deffinetly don’t intend to keep it after the service and waranty run out. I’m not sure if mine is a lemon as i had more issues than most people reporting online but i thought it would be worth sharing.

This car was the ####... it was way too fun to drive and I had a hard time staying outta the gas pedal it was one with the road and handled like a dream! Most would say not an everyday ride I would say drive it every day everywhere !!! Loved it !

This car is fun to drive. It is very responsive and powerful for a four cylinder, probably because it is turbo charged. The front seat are very comfortable for a small car however, the back seats are a little cramped. Since it is just my wife and myself most of time it is not a problem and when the grandchildren are is the back they have no complaints.

This is by far the sportiest American comfort car I have ever driven. Handles tight on turns, great acceleration, and pits a smile on your face.
