I haven't had this car a week. But I really like it very much..I am sure I will enjoy it more when I get driving it more..

If this is your niche, then this is your car. I am very critical of the vehicles I purchase. Right now there was nothing in the market that I truly wanted to own but needed a new vehicle ( I am waiting for the new Genesis GV80 to come out). I buy vehicles used as I work from home and really cannot justify buying new. I drove everything from Hyundai to Mercedes, new and used. This vehicle just checked all of the boxes. It is the right size, well appointed, generally reliable, and very safe. The vehicle accelerates smoothly, but not very enthusiastically. The interior is comfortable and quiet. The seats are firm, comfortable and well above average. It is very easy to drive and has very little body roll in turns at typical speeds. The transmission shifts well. The climate control system is outstanding thought he ventilated seats could be a little more robust. The infotainment system is intuitive and does not require one to use the owner’s manual to operate. If you use a smart phone, you can learn this system on the fly. Stereo sounds awesome to me but I am not an audiophile. The interior is luxurious and austere…which I like. I like the electronic shifter…a lot…but this is a subjective opinion. The accident avoidance/driver assist systems perform flawlessly. There are a couple of things that I would like to be different. The ride itself is very German, taught and a tad firm. The automatic electronic damping does a great job of absorbing bumps (not to mention a feat of mechanical engineering). But the steering, though very responsive, has the traditional soft American luxury feel. I would have mated the steering and suspension it a little differently. Certainly not a deal buster. The folding mirrors are operated by holding the lock button on the remote for one second, this should be an automatic function of locking. The cabin lacks storage and there is little you can do about it. There is one 12v outlet tucked away low up-front and two USB ports under the arm rest. The placement of the outlets could have been thought out a little better and another 12V upfront would have been nice for radar detectors. The outward vision is impeded by the large A, B, and C pillars. For me, this has the right combination of luxury, performance, size, reliability, and price. The more I drive it the more I like it. So much that the GV80 has kind of become an afterthought to me. I actually may be a convert to Cadillac.

I read many reviews on this car and the people rating it really marked it poorly and they were wrong. I guess they were looking for a rocket or something. Everything about this car suits me just fine, from it's exterior to interior to the use of all controls and it's operation overall. I'm very pleased with this vehicle and the reviews given by many big car magazines should be ashamed of themselves!! They were neither fair or objective in it's commentary and I could find at least one thing nice to say about a Yugo.

It was what I wanted at the time and this easily met my needs and wants and carries the certification and warranty to 100k miles

This car really meets our expectations it has everything that we need and some it drives smooth the seats are very comfortable great leg room

19-26 mpg was advertised; performance has been a consistent 15 mpg in town and has never exceed or been close to 26 mpg; Rarely greater than 19 mpg.

Enjoy driving a crossover. Very comfortable car to drive. Seats are a generous size, not to short for long trips. Great sound system and easy to operate. Auto diming head lights don't over react. Also the cordless phone charger works well. Crest Cadillac is also a great dealership too work with in both sales and service.

XT 5 is great!! Have had no issues, it’s comfortable driving & if I trade it in the future, plan to purchase same vehicle. It’s very spacious inside & great for long trips too!
