2018 Cadillac XT5 consumer reviews

I love the comfortability of the plush leather seats, spacious cabin room, the well handling of the vehicle around curves, the quietness of the cabin, the elegantly, sophisticated and stylishly fashionable look of the inside and outside of the vehicle.

The drivers seat is terribly uncomfortable and the cushioning around the edges is in adequate and thin causing you to feel the seat mechanics. If you have sciatica or back issues this isn't the car for you. The ride is bumpy and not at all the Cadillac ride of the past. The auto start stop is very rough and you can't turn it off. The overall ride is terrible unless you are on a very smooth road. I am so disappointed in the lack of quality and thought by Cadillac engineers. Then add a very disappearing experience with Arrowhead Cadillac, corporate Cadillac headquarters and Berkshire Hathaway and I can honestly say I'll never buy a GM product again.

Luxury at its finest. Safety rated very high. Sharp looking vehicle. Puts my Mercedes to shame in the technology department, for sure!!! Love it, would buy another after this one.

Great value for the money, just using regular 87 octane saves 30% at every fill-up. Feature for feature, a better value than the imports. Quite smooth and powerful.

I have owned my 2018 XT5 for six months and driven 4500 miles. Zero problems to date. The fit and finish is good and the interior is upscale with nice choices in materials. I find the driver seat a bit too soft for me (6ft,250lbs) but that is minor complaint. I also find the seat adjustment controls awkward and can never seem to get it just right. But that is true in all other cars I?ve driven. If we can build a space shuttle we should be able to figure out a better location and functionality for seat controls. Just sayin?. The digitalization and touch screen controls takes some getting used to but once everything is set up it?s okay and kind of grows on you. I find the entering of nav directions a bit more awkward than in other systems I?ve used but again you get used to it. The sound system is very good, awesome even. Engine power and transmission pairing is good no complaints. I drive mostly in flat or slightly hilly terrain so may be different in more mountainous parts of the country. The auto windshield wipers ?rain sense? needs some work. Occasionally startup on bright sunny days and then don?t when it?s pouring rain. Again a minor thing as they do work fine most of the time. I like the vehicle, more importantly my wife likes the vehicle, and we would buy it again.

I switched from sedans to SUV's to accommodate luggage when we travel. Lovely, and comfortable and it meets our needs. While still black, this car has a metallic sparkle, which I love.

The interior and exterior appearance are classy. However, the comfort of the seat aren?t as luxurious as you would expect. Had some nice features but I was surprised it doesn?t have the Apple/Android CarPlay capability.

The xt5 in my is the safest vehicle I have ever owned in my driving time. The style is great. The comfort is extremely smooth. The quiet ride is soothing.

Lots of room, great on fuel, great ride and performance. Bought at Budd's Cadillac in Oakville from Chris Cheevers. Great dealership for sales and service.
