248 plus miles on a charge no more gas!

I really liked it. It drove comparable to my Prius, kicky and cute. Not fancy but it has lots of technology and no more gas or oil changes!

Bolt is a great EV especially for the money

The Chevy Bolt is well designed outside and inside and handles as well as any car I've owned, including Mercedes. The range is excellent and the ride is comfortable and roomy all around. Even if this wasn't an EV I'd be happy to drive it.

Overall, very good. Jusgt not very comfortable.

The Bolt has plenty of headroom for tall drivers. The driver seat is a bit too narrow for me. Similarly cramped like an airline seat. The center console is too far back, making it hard for the driver to access. Two small cup holders and a lot of wasted space in front of the center console. Performance wise the Bolt is a rocket. Very smooth acceleration and excellent visibility. It looks very nice from the outside. Overall I really like it, however it is a bit uncomfortable for anything over 100 miles.

My first all-electric

This car is roomier than I expected, especially for leg room in front and back. Acceleration and handling are also above expectations. I really like the regen braking feature. It definitely extends the range. Only drawback is the slow charging with the 110 volt included cord, only 4 miles per hour of charging, over 48 hours for a full charge from 60 miles charge remaining. I'm having a level 2 charger installed at home. Also, no cup holders for back seat passengers.

Great value for money - best priced EV so far

Perfectly priced EV - meets needs of daily work commute and also weekend travels with no charging worries. It has all the necessary bells and whistles like Apple Air play, bluetooh, cameras, great cargo space! Need i say more?

Surprised and Impressed

In the span of a week, I test-drove a Tesla Model 3, a Chevy Volt and. Chevy Bolt EV. Not surprisingly, the Model 3 blew me away. The Volt was nice but somewhat compromised, and seemed out of its league in this group. The Bolt EV was the big shock ? I actually preferred it to the Model 3. The Bolt?s airy interior ambience, panoramic driver views and silent-but-powerful operation are impressive. I was ready to be underwhelmed but came away with a very high opinion of the Bolt. With its frumpy styling, the Bolt is hopelessly behind the Model 3 in terms of panache and coolness. And while the 3?s minimalist dashboard is totally Zen, I found the every-control-on-the-central-screen design to be distracting and needlessly complicated. The Bolt?s controls are user-friendly, and the displays are beautifully clear and crisp. The 3 is very quick, but the Bolt seems nearly as fast, and to my ear the Bolt is quieter at speed. It?s extremely quiet. I personally prefer the versatility of a hatchback to a trunk, so chalk up another point for the Bolt. The front seats in the Bolt and rear seats in the 3 have drawn criticism, but I found both to be comfortable (I?m 6?1, 185 lbs.). I wish GM would let the Bolt stylists run free ? it?s such generic looking little car. Apart from that, it?s a winner.

EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

They said I would get 238 miles to a charge. It looks like my car would do more than that with out breaking a sweat. I drove it to my daughters house 94 miles one way and when I returned home I had driven 211 miles and I still had a maximum range of 71 miles. It does take a long time on the level 1 charger to charge I have a level 2 that is going in as soon as the temperature drops down. I am charging the car totally on solar right now. I spent $5000 for the solar system. When not charging the car it runs all my 220 load except at night. I have for 12volt batteries that don't hold much power so when it turns to dark or cloudy I switch the 220 load to the grid. When it is sun my air conditioner water heater and stove can all run off the solar panels

Good value full electric vehicle

The Bolt is quick, quiet, reasonably comfortable with nice tight steering and suspension. Great electronic info system. Does require purchase of $630 home charging station to fully charge in 9 hours. Definitely recommend.
