2004 I5 Canyon with 279,000 miles!

I traded in my Sierra for the Canyon in July 2004, it had 24 miles on it. What an awesome little truck. It now has 279,000. Mechanically sound. Replaced alternator 5 yrs ago. Been thru 5 sets of tires! Wrecked twice. It has worked hard its whole life and been very reliable and nothing but dependable, Im back into a full size pickup, but I couldnt part with the Canyon. Still own it. Kids drive it. I really do love this truck- Its not for sale!

Best Truck Ever Owned! Bought Another One New!

Rarely do I keep vehicles more than 5 years. I purchased this vehicle new in Castle Rock, Colorado. It mostly has highway miles. I maintained it very well; but, I also feel that it is the 5 cylinder Saub inline engine that makes the difference. Chevrolet purchased Suab before I purchased it. It still funds very smooth! Just had the transmission re-built by a qualified shop in Downey last month. The shop provided a 12,000 warranty. I even have the receipts since new of oil changes and maintenance on the truck. You don't find that often where the owner provides the service record.

Low mileage 2004 Chevrolet Colorado

This truck is in great shape: exterior and interior. Good tires. Truck purchased from Classic Chevrolet and original owner in May 2017. with 75,987 miles. Now has 79,679 miles. I have driven the truck less than 4,000 miles since I've owned it. Drives great and holds the road well.

My first new car

This was my first brand-new vehicle and it has lasted me for 14 years of hard use--cross-country drives, backcountry camping and tons of Class 4 roads over the course of 220,000+ miles. Needed a few updates here and there to keep up but overall an excellent buy. Drawbacks: The back seat is not very comfortable, but my dog passengers didn't mind. It's also a little small--I would only recommend the crew cab. Also, the turning radius is ridiculously large for this small of a vehicle.

best money i have spent on a car

its everything in a truck being used it was priced right not over priced, good condition interior as well as exterior , the pics helped sell it so you don't waste time on going to look at something you know you are not going to buy if there are very little pics ,I didn't even give it a second look

I do not like where the handle is to open the door

I like my truck other than the fact that the handle to open the door is by your calf and that you cannot put anything in the middle console because it doesn't have an enclosure

Not as good as the S-10

I bought my Colorado thinking it would be as good as my previous S-10s. Not so much. I'm not hard on my vehicles and maintain them well. I had to take this truck in more than a few times for repairs that seemed ridiculous. Finally, in 2010, the front end went out on it. I did not even have 100,000 mile on it yet.

Average compact truck

Good gas mileage and enough room for a family of four, but little cargo bed makes for awkward home improvement store runs. Overall a good little truck
