The ZR2 is a beast in off road conditions!
We have a place in Ouray Colorado, so I purchased this truck for it's off road capabilities. I have to say, it was well worth the extra money for the Duramax engine. We took this truck without any mods over several trails. The hardest trail was Imogene Pass after just being open for 3 days in wet conditions. This trail is not for the novice driver but this truck walked over every obstacle without any issues at all! The suspension allows you to go from street, which feels like riding in a Cadillac, right into off road without even batting and eyelash. The Multimatic DSSV suspension is unbelievable! We've owned several Jeep Rubi's, and other off road vehicles but this truck is the bomb, hands down! Not only is it capable, it's and eye catcher as well. Not to mention the great fuel mileage that I'm pulling in for this beast. I wouldn't think twice about owning this truck! Get you one and you'll be just impressed as all the others on the trail that day!

So far so good....
Still getting use to everything. Kind of a gas hog, it needs a little more interior lighting over the shifter when it's dark, so i can see the cup holders. Other than that, it's a great little truck!

Excellent all around truck
Truck is well designed and balanced. Smooth ride for a truck-I have the Z71 variant. Exterior design is contemporary, but not flashy. No LED's anywhere. Truck feels solid, well built. Interior design is very nice. Some plastic, but the seats are comfortable and getting in and out is no issue. Z71 has most of the tech. No Forward collision alert, no land departure warning, which is a negative. Rear view camera is very clear. Infotainment system is well laid out and responsive. The capabilities of the Colorado are nice, up to 1,400 lbs in the bed, up to 7,000 lbs of towing, which is more than enough for most people. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a "smaller" truck

2019 Chevy Colorado design flaws and problems
Paint job is skin thin. Front grill and bumper is a great bug and bird catcher and subjects the radiator to some serious filthiness. Below and in front of the radiator is a rubber guard or seal that does not let the dead bugs and dead birds fall through or rinse out. The bug stink on this vehicle will be more than any vehicle you've ever purchased due to this design flaw. I finally got under the front bumper and found the bug clog. I half removed the rubber and washed out about a 1/2 gallon of bug and bird bodies. It was like a gross mud mixture. The only thing missing was maggots. The flare out rear fenders catch every rock and foreign object kicked up by the front tires. There is some aero dynamics problems also. Just go ahead and roll down just one of the back seat windows while going 55mph.. Don't do it for too long or you'll either go deaf or you back glass will get blown or vibrate out. The tailgate and rear bumper of this 2019 chevy Colorado catches xxxx with road grime, tar, and dirt. This is the worst vehicle I've ever had as far as keeping it clean goes. The truck needs some serious mud flaps or guards. The paint job needs to be sealed with some type of hardened protectant. Oh, and I had to bring the truck in for a transmission flush and fluid replacement. The truck began to shudder within 2000 miles from purchase. The fluid replacement seemed to be the fix. We shall see. Also, this tranny problem was causing the truck to average 25 mpg. After the fix, it averaged 28 mph while driving one hour to work and back on long highways at 55 to 52 mph. Not much stop and go.

EXCELLENT Machine, sorry I had to sell it.
With the 300hp V6 and front + rear lockers, this thing can hang with the best of them off road. MUCH more comfy than Jeeps, and style is much better.

overrated
I had a 2016 Colorado 4 cyc , very happy with the truck. I was shopping for a camper and needed a bigger towing capacity so I upgraded to the 2019 Colorado v6 4 wheel drive. Not happy at all with towing performance. I upgraded the hitch and still only towing 3300lbs , way under trucks rated capacity dont feel safe driving it on interstates
