Worst car I've owned

This car comes with a Powertrain Warranty of 5 years or 160,000km whichever comes first. A powertrain is made up of a transmission and an engine. The transmission needed replacement before the warranty expired because of a recall issue and now, past the 5 year warranty, the engine needed to be replaced at only 92,000km. This means the entire powertrain on this vehicle needed to be replaced at about half the kilometers the warranty would cover had not more than 5 years passed. In my opinion, General Motors should have taken some responsibility for selling me a lemon but they have refused sticking to their technicality of it being passed 5 years. I paid $26K for the car and just now spent $4K on a new engine. This car has now cost me $30K and I feel like I got hugely ripped off. My next car will be a foreign car.

Commuting in comfort with low cost of ownership

I am the original owner of a loaded 2013 Chev Cruze Eco with every option except the sun roof and factory navigation. This vehicle has almost 80,000 miles. With the exception of a few recalls, this vehicle has never been down , and it is driven everyday to work with round trip of 74 miles for almost six years. It is quieter than a Toyota Corolla. My mileage is 35 mpg which is mostly highway at 65 mph. The car remains attractive to me.
