just a bad car

i am not impressed at all with Chevy. This is just a bad car. the new ford escape or edge looks like a far better choice.

Girlfriend loves the Equinox

My Girlfriend had her heart set on a Nissan, as she previously leased a Armada that she loved, then a fully loaded Altima that she thought was ok. She was eying the Murano and said she needed more space for our baby but the gas mileage was an issue. I convinced her to look at the Equinox after she drove her cousins Rogue. Once she test drove it and looked at the space, was surprised and thought it was a great value. The fit and finish is excellent along with the options offered, great value. Her cousin now wants an Equinox once her Rogue lease is up.

Good car

My mom has a 4 Cyl equinox. It's a nice smooth ride. very roomy in the front, back and trunk. acceleration is ok, better than the honda CRV but it's not enough. The v6 would be much better. I get aroud 30 mpg highway and 25 city.

Great crossover for the money

Was a little reluctant to convert from my Cadillac CTS sedan to an auto with a four cylinder engine but I am really pleased with this vehicle. It's acceleration is good the ride is smooth and the internal appointments are excellent for a base model. It's especially easy to get in and out of, much better than the Caddy. I'm getting about 26.5 MPG but haven't really done anything other than around town stuff.

Had a Fender Bender

Rented an Equinox on a business trip and got a fender bender in a mall parking lot. Hit a small yellow pole at 5 mph and it took the right front quarter panel off. I looked inside the wheel well an found this flimsy carpet-like material behind the wall. Looks like poor body construction for the price.

cheverolet is the best

I bought my chevy equinox about a month ago by a wonderful salesman, Jayson Hall, at Denooyer Chevrolet in Albany, NY. I love my chevy. I feel safe in it and the gas mileage is better than I expected it would be. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Love my Equinox more and more everyday

Bought my equinox in Dec it is a 2012 FWD 4 cylinder LS. I was always used to having the V6 but opted to get the 4 this time around to save on gas and insurance is cheaper with the 4 cylinder where i live. So far there is nothing I can complain about at all. I'm missing a little of the power I had in the V6 but it still has ample get up and go so def nothing i can't live with. From what I was told from the salesman and several other people it could take up to 15000 or so KM before you will have it broken in and you see the top fuel mileage for any new vehicle. I'm 5'4 and have no issues adjusting the seat to be comfortable and have had no issues with glare from the chrome finish. It is a very comfortable ride smooth and quiet I could drive it all day!!! I've ridden in an Escape/liberty and CRV and like the equinox the best by far. I've never had bluetooth till this vehicle and it is lickity split so easy to use and connects instantly everytime. Never had an issue with it. Mine came with 6 months of free onstar which I love and it has easy access to just click the button and connect to Onstar :-) overall would buy an equinox again in a heartbeat. Go now quickly and buy one you'll love it!!

Most practical car I've owned.

Good car, especially for my field work where I need high clearance. Economical for size. I average 27 to 30 mpg and I'm not babying it. Nice exterior design. In 15000 miles have had no problems or expenses outside of two lube and oil changes. Plenty of cup holders. Nice dash. I've got the 4 cylinder and there is no problem entering freeways or keeping up with traffic. This is the third Equinox I've had and would buy another. Plenty of room for 5 adults.

MPG

I am sure I am not geting the lsted MPG of 22 and 34. Where did they come up with these numbers? I filled up on a Saturday and by the end of the day from just a few stops. I am almost at a half of tank.
