Stylish, Comfortable, Good Value

It looks good, drives like a car, and is comfortable for freeway commuting. The dashboard instruments are where I expected them, and easy to reach. Heating and cooling kick in quickly. The acceleration is acceptable for freeway driving, but the car struggles a little on an extended uphill; there's plenty of oomph, the engine just has to downshift to keep up to speed. The cruise control is easy to understand, but a bit quirky with the "squishy" controls; compared to the Impala's buttons, it was a bit to get accustomed to. Mileage is a solid 28-30 mpg highway, right on what I expected. Good cup holders, very clever mirror-in-mirror rear views on each side makes it easy to see who's in the blind spot. Lots of headroom, acceptable leg room - you are tempted to rest your leg on the side of the car. Really nice seat adjustments; easy to move the seat to that 'just right' point of comfort. Front and rear windshield wipers a big plus, grab bars on the windows very nice. Overall, a really good car at a reasonable price.

Great riding vehicle

Very comfortable ride on long trips. Great gas milage, and performance on hills in the Pittsburgh area.

Excellent car

I have a 2011, 6cyl, loaded. 25,000 miles. Zero problems. Gas, oil and filter and take care of it. GM did make a comeback with the Nox. I am ready to buy again in 2014.

Decent

The interior is great. Love the built in phone and rear viewfinder features. Handling could be better. Not sporty - a bit dull driving.

Excellent Vehicle

Just brought a new 2013 AWD V6 Equinox LT. Very well equiped and excellent value. Never would have thought GM could mange to make such a great vehicle. Well done GM! Vehicle is still breaking in and the gas milage has been impressive. Handling and features are impressive as well. Handles the WI frozen tundra conditions with no problems at all. Two thumbs up from a die hard Ford guy.

loving our new Equinox

We have purchased more than 30 brand new vehicles in the last 30 years, and this may be the best we've ever purchased! Beats the hel_ out of the Land Rovers and BMW's that we lost thousands and thousands of dollars on each one.

Among the best

Stylish and comfortable with bells and whistles that I like such as the turn by turn navigation, the Eco button which saves on gas and the way gas prices are today, I'm glad I have it also, it takes regular gas...which is a plus, has the pioneer premium sound system..hands free calling, rear-view camera...I'm extremely pleased with my new car

EXCELLENT WILL BUY AGAIN !!

WE BOUGHT OUR EQUINOX IN NOVEMBER OF 2012. WE HAVE A DRIVEWAY THAT IS A BEAR TO GET UP AND THE EQUINOX DOES NOT SPIN AT ALL. HANDLES GREAT AND RIDES VERY GOOD. WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT GOOD OF A RIDE. WE HAVE BEEN AVERAGING ABOUT 24 MPG WHICH I CONSIDER NOT BAD FOR WINTER DRIVING. LOT OF WARM UP TIME WITH THE REMOTE START.CAN'T WAIT TO TAKE ON A TRIP.

Not A Bad Little SUV

Pros-I like the Equinox and it is nice for a couple. It rides exceptionally well. I like the way it handles turns & braking. It is sharp looking too. Cons-There is not anywhere to hook your grocery bags to, which means your food is rolling around and breaking if not placed carefully. I have also noticed on the front doors that the built in pockets are so small I can't put a magazine or map book there without it falling out. This vehicle is a great replacement for downsizing as long as you can live without any kind of storage.

2005 Chevy equinox

I've owned my new equinox for three weeks. Unfortunately I've only been able to drive it one. Looking forward to when I can drive it again. As it has many new toy that my 2005 did not have.
