2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo consumer reviews

After years of owning imports, I purchased a used 2003 Monte Carlo SS in 2007 with 25k. It currently has 70k on it and I have yet to have an issue with this car. I drive this car often and hard in heavy traffic and it still starts on the first try each time! A major wow factor for me when looking to purchase this car is the heavy doors; they feel solid and safe and give the car a very safe and secure feel. A few months after buying the car I was rear ended - HARD. The other driver did not even hit the brakes before slamming into me, but the Monte held up and I was not slightly injured. So long as this keeps up, I will never buy another brand besides GM. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle that will last a long time!

Very nice and fun to drive many features. Very Sporty, Power, and good handling. If you can find one under 55,000 miles and in mint condition buy it. You will not regret it.

I love this car i believe more could have been done at the factory for performance but i still love the way it handles

i bought this car in anchorage ak in the fall of 2002, shipped it to tacoma,wa. drove it across country six times...love it. would not have another. it has 58k on it now and it is pay for...i will keep it for ever...gas mileage could not be beat

MY 2003 MONTE CARLO, I PURCHACED IT JAN.07, IT HAD 38,497 MILES.....I TEST DROVE A NEW ONE, THEN DROVE THIS 03 MODEL. THE 03 MODEL DROVE AND HANDELED AS WELL AS THE NEW MODEL, AND THE PERFORMANCE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. SO, 4 YEARS OLD, LOOKED AND DROVE JUST LIKE NEW, LOW MILES, FOR THE PRICE, I CHOSE THE 03. GREAT CAR, GREAT PERFORMANCE, GREAT RIDE......I GIVE IT A 5-STAR RATING. THANKS CHEVY, JOB WELL DONE.

Great lines and a very comforable ride. I have the 3.4 eng and it is very nice. Interior instrument panel could have more gagets on it, but it's nice.

I bought this car new and have never had a problem with it. It has 50k on it and still rides smooth and the engine runs quiet. No complaints from me.... good job Chevy!
