Good all around vehicle

Good vehicle for what it was. Not a towing vehicle with a 4.3 v6. It was a working vehicle no power options and had vinyl flooring. So i'f you are one ti bbe in areas that was muddy and stuff it was perfect. Easy to maintain and do maintenance on.

Nice, reliable pickup for the year.

The truck has a pretty good standard look. Nothing to fancy but has everything you need in a truck. 4X4 is great to have along with the Z71 suspension. Bed is perfect size. Has enough power to haul and for a V8 5.3L gives good torque and is decent for fuel mileage.

Extremely Comfortable

I had no idea a Pick Up Truck could be So Comfortable! The Z71 (even though a 2005) had so many conveniences and the customizable seats make long drives a pleasure and much less fatiguing than others I have owned!

Great all around vehicle

I bought my 2005 Silverado in 2013 with 60k miles and kept it until March 2018 110k miles. I used it for work, commuting, hunting, etc. I drove this pickup in all types of weather and more often then not had better luck then my friends with newer vehicles. It never left me stranded and if my wife would of let me hang onto it it would still be in my driveway.

Best truck I've owned yet

Bought the truck (5.3 v8, 4l60e automatic transmission, z71 4x4 offroad package, extended cab) in early 2016 at 158,000 miles and lasted me to 185,000 before I totalled it late 2017 after a lot of hard miles with towing thrown in the mix. I could beat that truck as hard as possible and it would still hapilly chug along. I bought something more economic after the accident due to my large amount of driving, but I'm still wishing I had this truck back. Would definitely recommend it

Flashes vehicle I've ever owned

Commands Attention everywhere I go. Truck has been customized and stands out visually as well as due to performance. Definitely feels like you're driving a V8 when behind the wheel.

It never lets me down

I bought my 2005 Silverado 2LT extended cab 2 wheel drive brand new with 4 miles on it 8 miles after I test drove it. During the 13 years I've owned it I've always maintained it and have only had a few issues. At around 44k miles I had to have the tie rods replaced and the passenger side front wheel hub. I had to replace the same wheel hub again around 98k miles. The heat and AC plenum is on it's way out now. The truck has about 110k miles on it now and considering the repairs have cost less than a payment on a new truck and less frequent as well I have no reason to complain. I'll probably keep it for ever.

Good truck for work.I think this

I think this truck will serve its purpose well. Bought it because my old truck outlived its purpose. It will haul or tow what I need.
