Descent truck but paint is crap

The truck serves its purpose as a truck should. The factory paint is the biggest problem. Everytime i wash my truck using only a garden hose, large portions of paint just fall off all around the truck under standard water pressure. I have the white paint on mine and its total garbage. My truck is quickly turning to bare metal and i only drive it maybe 20 miles every other week. At this rate, my truck which has less than 50k miles on it will be in a scrap yard in less than 3 years due to rust eating the cab, bed, and front end off the chassis due to the crap paint job chevrolet put on this model. It should be recalled since the problem lies within the factory paint but its looking like i will have to dish out more money to fix the issue so my truck lasts to meet the expected life span of the vehicle. Had i known the issue before i bought this truck, I would be driving something different.

nicest vehicle I've owned

its just we wanted. With a family of 6, this thing has plenty of room. Very comfortable and drives down the road nicely. And I'm sure it will pull my trailer with toys on it just fine.

LTZ Crew Cab

LTZ model has all the fancy bells and whistles. Sunroof. Accelerator pedal adjuster. Leather. Heated seats. Decent sound system. Crew cab is 4 inches roomier in back seat than the newer double cab. Nice little short bed to get the farm work done and still fit in the garage. 5.3L V8 has plenty of pick up & go - compared to my heavier lumbering 2500HD diesel. Beware the truck locks itself if it “senses” the remote inside after the engine is off. It assumes you have a second remote or a second key.... which I don’t (joys of buying used). So keep a tow company on speed dial and read the truck manual. It’s gonna be a long 21 days to change that habit. Good little half ton truck, but I’m a Chevy girl.

I love this pickup. It was a great value.

I really like the color of the exterior and the cashmere leather seats. Lots of options, great looking truck. Chrome wheels, fender flares(same color as pickup), it came with weather tech floor mats, front and back.

Absolutely beautiful truck

This is the nicest truck I have ever owned. The only problem I have with this truck and all new cars is getting a spare set of keys made for the truck! Only have one key and need another produced.

Was the pleased with our purchase until we had to

This truck met our needs except for the fact that 3 of the door handles have broken and no recalls have been issued. Many other of these vehicles report this same problem and CHEVROLET/GM have yet to address it. After the money we have paid for this vehicle new it is very disappointing and irresponsible. Thanks for nothing.

Exchevyman

Day one new 2013 heatercore issues which lead to interior issues which lead to rattling in the truck .They are way overpriced for being built by foreign country because they outsource more than actually being American made now.
