Best all around value

Great comfort and Power in a truck. We need it for hauling family and friends, our boat and trailer, and doing odd jobs for our lake house. It performs in all aspects and looks nice enough to take out on the town

Vibration

It is a nice vehicle for the money. However it has a vbibration that can not be fixed. A large number of owners have this vibration. It handles well and drives nice other than the vibration. It has several add ons that make it nice. Power sliding window is very nice with the double cab.

best truck I have owned

I have driven over 40,000 miles with no complaints at all. Good handling, excellent gas mileage for a truck, very comfortable.

Great truck, nothing but the best.

Great truck, never had a single thing go wrong. All I did was maintenance and it carried me everywhere I needed to go. The High Country edition has been fun to own.

Love It

overall i love the truck, i have the crew cab version and it is extremely spacious. only complaint is that the seats are a bit stiff. i average around 16 mpg and i dont do a lot of thruway driving so id say that its pretty good for an 8 cylinder

Very happy with my Silverado

I was originally somewhat put-off during a test drive of the new Silverado because it drove more like a Cadillac sedan than a 4x4 truck, but let me say after 30,000 miles I'm super glad I got it. It's become our go-to long distance road-trip vehicle, getting around 24mpg highway and doing that with tons of comfort, power, and just plain solid driving experience. Its ride is smooth and it tracks perfectly down the road. The only negative thing I have to say is that the 4 cyl/8cyl switching takes some getting used to and sometimes lags for a couple seconds when switching from 4cyl to 8 cyl mode that occasionally gives a little 'dead stick' feel on the accelerator - its rare, but quite noticeable when it happens. There are simple aftermarket mods that let you turn the 4 cylinder mode off but its probably not worth the drop in fuel economy. Other than that, the vehicle has been great with only a couple minor recalls that GM has promptly fixed (as a 2014 this was the first year of the new engine and new model). I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a comfortable truck.

Solid truck

I picked up this 2014 silverado double cab. I have to say, I really like it! The ride is smooth and the interior is comfortable. The double cab offers plenty of back seat space and the full size bed comes in handy.

Nice Truck

It rides good, has all of the accessories that I need, and does pretty well on gas. Vision is good, comfort is not perfect but good for a long trip. It has been to Florida. And the passengers seem to be comfortable.
