2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 consumer reviews

Bought a 2014 High Country Crew Cab. Every option except sun roof. This thing is feature packed, comfortable and so incrediably quiet. Still learning all of the electronics on the Chevy My Link. Bose stereo rocks. The only think I would like to see is a console shifter.

The Crew Cab is an excellent work and play pickup. The 2014 has a well thought out, inside and out. My Link is easy to use. A very quiet ride. Like the large rear doors for passengers. It rides like an expensive sedan, but is a work horse too. I have had Ford and Toyota trucks........this is the best by far all around. Pickups keep getting better.

So far my Silverado has lived up to the hype. It is quiet , rides smooth and handles well. Sound system is very nice , onstar and other systems work well.

I've had my 2014 LTZ Z71 one month today and I love it. Beautiful truck and as comfortable as my Buick Lucerne. Takes a while to learn the electronics. Just found out today the weather radar and traffic avoidance features are part of the Sirius radio package which keep I always subscribe to anyway. Heated steering is a must have from now on. Best mileage so far is 19.7 on a 150 mile trip both ways. No rattles, plenty of power, and loads of storage in the cab. MyLink gives me all the tech data plus remote start from my smart phone. Factory remote start leaves a lot to be desired. Pandora radio is new to me but a terrific new addition. Navigation works great but voice recognition needs hillbilly lessons to understand me. Seems to work well with everyone else. I have the double cab which is much more sturdy than older models. I like having door handles for all 4 doors. quietest truck I have ever been in.

Have owned this truck for three weeks so really am still learning what all it has and does. The truck is just under 20 feet long so the Garage is now full from front to back with about 3 inches to spare. I like the Info link with hands free Bluetooth to answer the phone or tune the radio, The XM radio and Onstar seem like they may be things I keep after the trial periods run out. I like the room in the rear seat area - the seats fold up easily and make lots of room for the dog or whatever else I want to transport. Also I can sit comfortably in the back and not touch the back of the front seat. I did not get the built in Navigation but in hindsight that might have been the only thing I would have changed. I drove the truck on a series of 50 mile trips on I 94 here in Michigan and could average just over 23 mpg for the 50 mile trips if I payed attention to the info and kept the speed between 60 and 65 - The truck is everything I hoped for and will comfortably take four guys to Canada for some fly in or drive in fishing. I like the ride very much and even though it is big - driving it is a pleasure - the rear camera takes some getting used to as I have to back it into the garage but that does make it a lot easier. It will also be great for hooking up my boat in the spring. My wife likes the balance tail gate and can open and close it with one hand. Overall very happy at this point and I guess at what these things cost I should be. I will have this truck for many years.

elko ford dealership does not deal with the hard working class in Elko Nevada unless you work for the mines so I decided why deal with some one that wont deal with you. Chevy is my choice for the rest of my life.

Only owned this Silverado for a month. Surprised/pleased with quietness of ride. Seats on our LTZ package are most comfortable. Ride is solid but not harsh. Not quite used to all the electronics but that's coming along.

Best truck I ever bought I like the performance of truck and like the color blue granite on it and like Texas edition wheels thats on it.

after owning the last three chevy trucks this has to be the best one..quite interior,better steering, great pick up,really a great truck..got to be truck of year...

JUST bought and ordered a new 2014, single cab,short bed, V6 Dependable and just what is needed. Drove another truck with new transmission and this was the deciding factor in buying a 2014. Chevy branf is dependable and have drove one for years.
