So far so great!
Just purchased our stylish Chevrolet 1500 Silverado Nov 2019, rides great with plenty of power, enjoying our new truck! We purchased it from Hardy Chevrolet in Gainseville GA, our best vehicle buying experience we've ever had.

Chey Silverado 1500 RST Black Widow
GM, a good attempt at a model update, but could be much MUCH better for both the 1500 and 2500. I'm a GM guy, and since GM stopped building Hummers, I have been looking for a good GM alternative. Well, I found it in the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST that is GM customized by SCA Performance by way of the SCA Silverado Black Widow. This is better than my Hummer, love the look and the lines which blend well with the 6" lift and fender flares. The front end is nasty awesome! Traditionally the GM 5.3's have been pigs; unable to produce power to match the Ford Coyote 5.0 engine. This new Gen. 3, 5.3 VVT mated to the new 8 speed transmission is really nice, but still underpowered compared to the Ford Coyote 5.0 and the 3.5 Ecotech twin turbo, but overall, a marked improvement. Still have to ask why the 5.3 is still running two valves per cylinder while the Ford Coyote 5.0 update got it 4 valves. The interior is still out of 1988, a lot of hard plastic, an outdated display, even when upgraded, and still no standard sunroof as is offered by Ford and Ram. Worse yet, no panoramic moon roof? C'mon GM, it's 2019 and Ford and Ram have had panoramic moon roofs standard for years. Seats, again, c'mon GM, fabric? Both Ford and Ram have leather standard for similar trim levels. If not for the SCA Black Widow cutomization, I would not have leather. Almost forgot, a manual passenger seat at this trim level, not even Ford or Ram do that. Manual passenger seat, it feels like I'm driving with Marty McFly. Team GM, overall, a really nice exterior update, but PLEASE, PLEASE update the interior, you need softer materials on the doors and dash. You also really need to work on the display panel, it feels very 1986 Back to the Futurish, old and tired, just like Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Oh, and the last two BIG must haves moving forward, leather seats at the RST trim level, this should be a must have. Lastly, and my biggest pet peeve, WHERE THE xxxx is the panoramic moon roof, it's 2019 and no panoramic moon roof in your top selling pick up, c'mon GM, shame on you. To wrap, the major selling points for the 2019 Silverado 1500 RST are the exterior styling that is nasty awesome, and the SCA Black Widow package that is beyond the WOW factor. Now the down side, SCA has Black Widow special packages for the Ford F 150 and Ram 1500. Had I been able to find a Ford or Ram 1500 with the Black Widow package, I would have run away quickly, no check that, I would have sprinted from GM like Usain Bolt. Crazy to think that Ford and Ram offer leather and panoramic moon roofs in the same trim levels....oh, and modern large displays and nicer softer interiors....oh, and power passenger seats. GM, you have a lot more to do besides refreshing the outside appearance. You also might want to be careful, some may interpret this as putting lip stick on the pig. Oppps, you might have made the same mistake on the recently renewed Silverado 2500. GM, if you need help updating the Silverado 1500, just give me a call, it's not that daughnting a task. The Neanderthals currently working your updates seem to be out of touch with your customer base, you could have/should have hit a home run with this update, you should have gotten the JD Power award, but you blew it by underestimating what customers want in interiors, displays and Oops, GM, step it up, Toys R Us and Sears disappeared from fewer fatal mistakes.

Nice Truck
This truck has many amenities. Great looking, nice riding. Only thing I would say that maybe needs is having the outside noise eliminated. You hear alot of the road noise. Otherwise very happy with the truck.

Nicest vehicle I own!
The new Silverado is so quiet and has all the options you can ask for. Heated steering wheel and seats are great in this. The back seat has plenty of leg room. I love my new truck.

Did not impress me at all
The exterior of this truck is the ugliest front end design I have ever seen on any truck. The grill and lights just make me not want it from the lack of curb appeal alone. I found the interior to be full of plastic and gadgets but no real wow factor. Very generic looking to me. The truck to me did not ride as good as others I have driven. I personally think Chevrolet rushed this out the assembly line. They should go back to the drawing board and try again. Also the price for a fully loaded Chevrolet truck IMO is very over priced. I would not buy one and I have owned Chevy trucks for over 30 years.

Capable, well built and reliable
The best truck for the long haul (pun intended). Ford is to complicated and expensive for what you get. Ram is insane expensive with bells and whistles not needed. The Silverado ltz zr1 is everything you need in a truck and is incredibly reliable. With the 6.2 the performance is outstanding. Only thing is chevy needs to upgrade its interior. Other than that the truck is exceptional.

Beauty and a Beast
The truck is gorgeous and has the technology, muscle and fuel economy for an everyday driving vehicle. Looking forward to the many years that I have her on the road. Bring on the adventures!

Long Distance Travel is Painful
First time Chevrolet owner who quickly learned that the comfort level in long distance travel is murder on my back. I would definitely go back to FORD if I could because of that. In addition, the console in the top of the truck is loose and needs repair, the carpet on the driver's side is already loose and looks bad....I regret my decision to go with Chevrolet.

Silver Silverado
Love the body style of the truck and how well it drives. The turbo charged motor is awesome. Great gas mileage. Will love working out of it with the double cab.
