BEST buying experience with a new vehicle.

It's more than I could have ever imagined! There were so many GREAT surprises that I didn't even ask for. Like my tailgate even lets down with a push of a button. How great is that!! The best vehicle we have ever bought!

First ever "new" truck, very disappointed...

Worst truck buying experience ever, truly disappointed at Chevy for such a terrible truck, been at the dealership 2 times, 1st time was 17 days and is currently been there for 19 and no clue when it's coming back. I will always buy Chevy trucks just 06 and older.

Hard shifts all the time!! Don’t buy this truck!!

I have a 2019 Silverado and i wish I wouldn’t have paid my hard earned money buying this trash. It jerks violently accelerating and coming to a stop. It has 4500 miles on it. Ive taken it to the dealership only to be told its normal. Its embarrassing leaving a store in a brand new truck that shifts so hard, it feels like another car has rear ended me.

Very impressed after 8000 miles on this truck

My first new Chevy, ever. Very well thought out features and very user friendly. Great fuel economy for a 5.3 V8 with trailer towing pkg. Regularly get 22-24 mpg heading into town. Truck used mostly for chores but have also taken it on some 1000 plus mile trips. attn: CARS.COM Primary use selection below should also include farm and or work truck as a primary use option, too.

my first new Chevy in 54 years of car ownership

I was a Ford truck owner for decades and now found a truck that really impressed me with thought out design, kick butt power and very good fuel economy for a 5.3 V8 with trailer towing package. I am one of those , “I’d never own a Chevy” to a person that is genuinely happy with my purchase. I really like some of the functionality features and appreciate having full analog gauges , something my Mustang GT/CS didn't have (virtual and had to toggle through).

Transmission Problems

Interior design on my 2014 Silverado was superior. Rides nice and good miles per gallon, but I have a persistent transmission issue the dealer does not acknowledge or can not fix. Occasionally, usually on a cold morning start, it shifts into first gear with a jolt. It has happened only twice after being driven, taking off from a stop sign. It feels like you’ve been rear ended! That’s how jolting it is. I’m not happy.

Great truck. A very nice smooth ride.

This truck is nice. I always wanted a truck and this one met all my needs. It looks great and turns heads everywhere I go.

4 RECALLS IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS!!!

I bought my first Silverado 1500 back in May of 2015. I was so excited and it didn’t disappoint. Made the decision this past summer that I’d like to trade it in for a 2019. Wasn’t unhappy with it at all and could have kept it longer, but the mileage was getting up there and I knew it was gonna need work soon, so decided to trade it in while it still had decent value. On Aug 5th I purchased a new 2019, after getting a great deal for my trade and a terrific monthly payment. Well let me tell ya, I have come to seriously regret my decision. It has been less then 6 months of owning it and I’ve already had 3 recalls taken care of and had to have the compressor for the AC replaced because the clutch was not engaging. Both issues required me to take time off of work as I was told by my dealership that the work could only be done during the week. Now I find out that on the 30th there was a 4th recall that came out that has to do with the braking system. Yet again, more time I will have to take from work to get it taken care of. I am just beyond disappointed in Chevy. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a new car or truck!!!

Much nicer vehicle than my earlier Silverados.

The Custom model/trim level had what we wanted-20 inch wheels, cloth seats, full bench in front and XM radio. First 2 wheel unit owned bit runs great.
