Nice Truck

I bought the 1999 Chevy Silverado 2WD new as it was the Truck of the year in 1999. With good reason, it was an awesome truck with great smooth ride. Still 15 years later it rides smooth as can be. The 2WD helped alot with gas mileage over the years. I put tow package on it as we were planning to pull a R.V. and every savings in fuel we could get we would take. You can't go wrong with this truck. Silverado's are definitely awesome trucks inside and out.

2WD 5.7L C2500 HD - 1998 body style

Been a great truck Ext Cab. Bought new @$21k when the new 99s were $30ishK. Minimal work required - AC compressor replaced, radiator replaced, tires and brakes. Still have original rotors and drums and components @214,000 miles. Almost no rust. Tranny fluid changed 3 times with a double change and flush @150 k. Still pink. Still runs up and down the road w/ an extra 1K lbs minimum @11mpg. Best was 2K lbs extra and 13.5mpg - all hwy. 3.73 gearing . Don't use it for the mileage, but it's enduring capacity to run with little complaint.
