Over 300,000 miles and still on the road

I am the 2nd owner of a 2000 chevy silverado 2500. I bought it in 2004. I now have over 300,000 miles on the original motor and transmission. Pulls and drives great on or off the road. And I'm still driving it today

Def best vehicle I’ve ever owned

Bought new in 2000. Currently has 200k miles. It has literally NEVER been in the shop. Everything is original including the brake pads. Towed a 3ton boat from Los Angeles to Havasu multiple times every summer for all of those 20 years, not to mention my 5th wheel through the Sierras and Rockys multiple times. She is an unstoppable beast!

A good, reliable vehicle.

I've owned this truck for about 12 years. It has been a good vehicle and very reliable over the years. My only complaint is the rust issues it has had. After about 10 years it started to have some rust spots. It hasn't had an effect on the overall performance of the truck, but has had an effect on the appearance of the vehicle.

Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned.

Great for anything you can throw at it. Runs like a beast and can tow 12k pounds no problem. 4x4 works great and the 6.0 Vortec runs like a beast.

Very used 2500

I just bought this truck, It has 177000 on the odo. The engine runs strong and the tranny seems tight. I had to replace the rear bumper (rusted to pieces) and the rocker panels could use some attention (once again rust). Other than that, it's still a very nice truck. I towed a 29 ft camper up some long, steep hills and it never seemed overloaded. I drove it at 60-65 and it never complained. I only paid 4K for the thing and I feel it was money well spent...

This is a Great Winter Ride

I bought a LT 2500 full size box, extended cab. It is really long but it rides super smooth even with Goodyear Wangler very agressive tires which I just put on it, Heated leather blast furnace heater will keep me warm and dry during our lake effect snow in Michigan. Some rust by the 3rd and 4th half doors otherwise very clean, low miles and under 9k. Only 98k miles too. The 6.0 liter is very stong powerful motor not the best on gas 12-15 mpg I only checked it twice and was 14 average after 2.5 months. I believe it will last an other 10 years and 100k miles
