Sonic LTZ - Nice Car, No Soul
Nice car. Drives decently if you always wanna drive slow. Seat was too high, my bun didn't have clearance. The backseat is too small.

Great gas mileage
Loved my Sonic. Averaged 36 mpg and never had any mechanical issues. Back seat is small, but we fit three adults in the back from time to time.

Buddy
I've had my Sonic/Buddy three weeks now and love it! First car that's an automatic and a turbo and like both a lot, thank goodness for cruise control! Both AC & Heat work really well.

Radio breaks during fourth year
My Chevy Sonic is a great overall car, no problems until I get the "chime fix". Now my radio doesn't work (where all of the settings are), nor does the chime work. The dealer wants me to pay $100 to look at it... I've had this car for four years, bought it new and My Link wont boot up conveniently after my warranty is expired.

Welcome back check engine light
I bought this car brand new and have missed weeks of work due to issues. My check engine comes off and on. They don't know why. I'm riding till the wheels fall off and never buying Chevy again.

Most unrliable car i've ever owned
I love the looks and comfort, I brought it in 2014 with alittle over 3000 miles on it, So far I have had to replace theheater control unit 3 times, it was in the shop 5 times to fix the security chime, had to replace the left windshield washer nozzle, just replaced the fuel pump assembly and now have a p0002 code showing, going to try to replace the fuel volume sensor, and god knows what else will go wrong. really wish I had never brought this car, should have stuck with a Toyota.

Worst car I have bought so far
So far I have replaced the intake manifold the thermostat and now it's in the shop because it's got a vacuum leak. 74000 miles. My 2000 Buick regal gave me less issues. Extremely disappointed with this purchase. I bought the car at 49000 miles.

Good car
2012 Chevy Sonic 1.4T, LT. 75,000 miles. I had a transmission, 6spd manual, replaced under warranty. The dealer has replaced the upper intake manifold/gasket 2 times. It's a common problem on these turbo cars. I've changed the clutch, tie rods, and brakes as they've worn, regular maintenance as with any car. It's a blast to drive, it rewards the driver for driving slow, I regularly see 40+mpg tanks. It's also rewarding to scoot around town when you're in the mood, I have a Trifecta tune which makes it an all around fun little car. It's a good looking car, the interior is comfy, an aftermarket stereo/touchscreem nav makes the car more enjoyable. Not the best car for the money and it doesn't hold value well so buy used. It's a good solid little car that I hope makes it to 250-300k miles. There are few better options if mpg + price + pracicality + fun to drive are all near the top of your list.
