My First New Vehicle
I like the car. It gets great gas mileage. It's a great car to have to drive. I'm completely satisfied with my new vehicle. I like how it drives.

Great little car
I've owned this car for just about a month now, and I love it! Initially, I was looking at this car because of a factory rebate that brought the price down to 8,900 for the base model and was sceptical about the size. Mainly because I have a child and large dogs, but it really does utilize the space very well. My little one's car seat fits well in the back end with some leg room and I can fit one dog back there with her while the other one is well behaved enough to go in the front if I needed to. Plus my husband has a larger car so this really isn't an issue. We ended up with the 2017 LT model because it was the last one on the lot, and they made me a deal I could refuse (I paid 12,000 out the door). This is my first car and I am very impressed with the compact car. It's saving me 100 a month at the pump, which is half the payment and is much safer and reliable than my previous car. The features in the LT model are absolutely amazing, and the cell phone projection feature allows me to use google maps on the screen, which helps me to be on time to work. The only complaint that I have is the placement of the seatbelt latch on the driver's size. I have a little extra junk in my trunk and the belt latch diggs into my hips a little if I do not have it in just the right place. I only wish it was a little farther away from the seat maybe an inch or two, then the car would be perfect.

Most affordable and reliable car I have ever owned
I love my Spark. With only 1000 miles on it, I am already getting 37.1 MPG. It drives like a charm. Even my 6' 2" husband fits with plenty of head room.

So far it has been good
It is a little bit small , but for now it works for me , if you have a family of 3 or 4 it would be a good car until you can get another car also in the long run if you have little ones you might try the chevy spark and it wouldnt be bad cause it dont cost much to put gas in it . And i know its not cheap to try to raise a family of 1 or 2 kids .

Great little commute car! Very luxurious
This is the perfect vehicle for commuting to and from work or school. It is super reliable, peppy, appealing and technologically advanced. What you get out of this vehicle for its price is absolutely incredible! Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Very impressive, wasn't at all what I had expected
I had sat in one of these when they first came out, at an auto show, and could not even close the door because it was so cramped. Fast forward a few years and I just bought one for my daughter as a college graduation present. Why? The price of $12000 for a leftover 2017 was too good to pass up for this car in the LS Auto version. It has an automatic transmission, air conditioning, a backup camera, onstar, APPLE CAR PLAY (WOW), and some other things like a rear wiper, rear window defroster, etc. Now it does have roll up windows, no power locks, etc. but you know, for a starter car, I can live with this. I'm a 300lb male, with a 6 foot height, and I can actually drive this car without feeling too cramped....I did have to adjust the seat a bit, but it works. Once in, you feel like there is more room than you would have expected on the outside. This is a good thing because this is a smaller car. But I also don't feel like cars are right on my bumper as I did when I had a Prius - that seems weird, I know, but it is what it is. Onstar gives you a way to lock the drivers door (only) and unlock your drivers door, remotely, but the key comes with no remote unlock buttons (LS version). The rear hatch is an electric release but you cannot remotely unlock that. But Onstar does give you crash detection and notification, security, and guidance plans - guidance would be good on a car without a GPS and if you do not take advantage of the Apple Car Play system. Apple Car Play is something that you must really think about on a car without a NAV system and without any satellite radio. You can stream your music, use apple maps for directions, and see your screen on the car's screen. I don't like to have to plug in my phone to the USB jack to use Apple Car Play but you get used to it and realize it is a really great thing to have. As for handling, it does a decent job at this, way better than other cars I've had that cost 2x as much. Acceleration isn't as bad as some say it is - it is like 94 horsepower, but it is decent. There is a CVT (on my model) and it reacts well, is smooth, and does the job well. I worry about the 15" wheels and some of the big potholes out there these days, but I've lived through those days before and didn't hit too many. And back in those days I had 13" wheels. Given the $12000 total price (big leftover sale from Chevy), I'm considering getting one of these when my Buick Encore lease is over because this is like less than 1/2 the cost and isn't as bad as you'd think just for commuting to/from work. Gas mileage is too soon to be sure, but so far I'm seeing 32MPG mixed highway and city. Same with reliability, but so far nothing I needed to bring back to the dealer for - everything is working, fit and finish is 100%, and while not a luxury ride, everything works and all doors close and open properly, etc. Oh, yes, I was able to test this in the snow and the stabilitrak system does work well. There isn't alot of ground clearance, so don't expect to plow through 6 or more inches of snow, but should get you where you need to go on plowed roads. The ABS works as it should. So, want a surprise? Take one of these for a drive and give it a few days to get used to it (maybe rent one?) and you'll find as I have, there is a car you can still buy today for less than $20K that gives you more than you expect and is a decent value.

Quality vehicle
I got the 2017 ACTIV with manual transmision. Drives smooth, handles well. I'll give it a B- in acceleration off the line in 1st gear but after that you can adjust. It has plenty of speed for freeway driving. The ACTIV model looks very sharp and you do not see many out there. Seats are leather and very comfortable and the inside looks very modern. The sound system is top notch with XM package. The screen, controls are straightforward and well placed.

Fun little car
I purchased this little, inexpensive car to tow behind a motorhome so I really didn't car all that much about how it drove or handled, but WOW, was I surprised! I bought the most inexpensive model, the LS with a manual transmission, and it is a fun car to drive. It has a tight suspension with quick steering so it is drives like a little sports car. No it isn't the fastest car I have ever owned (by far) but I still enjoy driving it. Too bad Chevrolet doesn't make an actual sport model with a high performance engine,........ if they ever do I might be their first customer.
