2019 Chevrolet Trax consumer reviews

At first, I was okay with it. There were some things that I did not like - no arm rest - but I just have a base model - so I accepted it However the car started to malfunction on me. I purchased it at the end of October and started having issues the first part of November. I took it back to the Dealership where I purchased the car from and was told that they could not get the car to reproduce the problem. I picked it up and it worked okay for a while - but then it malfunctioned again - back to the dealer - and got the same response. It is now at the dealership and has been for three weeks and they still cannot tell me what is wrong. I am paying a car note and car insurance but do not have a car to drive - no loaner or nothing else. The car is just not safe to drive. I am having an issue with the brakes. My foot is on the floor of the car, but the car will not stop. I have to take the car out of drive to get it to stop. It makes a terrible grinding noise. There is some kind of smoky like exhaust that I see in the rear view camera - that you are not supposed to see unless the car is in park. Once the episode has stopped - it then goes back to working like nothing ever happened. The episodes come about with no warning whatsoever. The brakes go from mushy to hard and somewhere in between. I went from being excited and thrilled to have a new car, to being totally exasperated, disgusted, frightened and broke. While I know that this is not every Trax - I see a lot of them on the road. I still will not recommend anyone to buy this vehicle

Easy to get in and out. Roomier than I thought it would be. Handles well. Good gas mileage. Love the style. All wheel drive is great in Mi.

Handles and Drives well..for a small AWD SUV style car..Gets Good Miliage and has been dependable, I recommend the LT package to get the best bang for the buck. Nice safety features...This is not a towing off road vehicle..but for a vehicle that sits up high with 18 inch rims with AWD ,,as a commuter it WORKS.

I just got this car. Its so fun to drive and its so cute! I love it! Its too new for me to say if its reliable or not, but I do have an extended warranty so I should be good there. I have had many Chevy's over the years and they all have been good reliable cars so the Trax should be also. I really love the styling, its a smaller SUV but you sit up high, which helps with seeing the road and other cars. Its peppy. Its fun to drive.

So far this SUV has performed well, interior is very nice, love some of the features that it has. So far this has been a good choice for me.

Good starter car/SUV , 4 cylinder, split 60/40 fold flat back seats, 3 USB ports, rear 110 volts outlet, a drivers seat armrest, hope it willbe as reliable as my Saturn Vue was.

This vehicle is a fun drive for a smaller vehicle. Holds the road, has adequate speed when needed and good visibility. I enjoy this much more than anticipated.

This car meets all my wants and needs. It is very stylish and has all the features I love in a vehicle. It's roomy, economical, comfortable and drives great!. I owned a 2015 Trax and the only thing missing from the 2018 are the slots to place your ID or credit cards in. Other than that....I absolutely LOVE my Trax Premier!

I have been somewhat looking for something new to come out i looked but always came back to the trax but i wanted the premier I love it
