Most reliable car I've owned

This car met all of my family's needs. It has a lot of room. The third row is easily accessible. It's been very reliable and drives very comfortably.

Not enough space

The trunk was really small. All I could fit in there was a spare tire. There was some beeping noise that wouldn't go away, even though I kept my oil changed. Ifor you have a big family, like myself, this is not the van for you. I will say performance wise, pretty good.

Basic, Good Looks, Interior is inferior.

My minivan is the LS and it has many pluses to mention. I like its looks. It has a sharp looking exterior with automatic sliding doors being a great feature. DVD is great but should slide on rail. Lots of cup holders. Inferior inside materials. Example: Cheap seats crack and tear easily. Dashboard made of super cheap plastic and which cracks easily. Pluses: Lots of room inside. Seats movable with some effort. Reasonable gas mileage. Motor is adequate but wish I had the 3.9. The ABS system is problematic and reviews verify this. However, I do have 158,000 with no major problems. The secret is regular maintenance, TLC, and reasonable driving habits.

Great vehicle, but not good for towing.

Typical Chevy comfort and amenities. I had a version of this with 5 doors, and no back seats for work. The second slider on the drivers side was very handy. The low floor and vinyl mat made it great for loading stuff in and out thru any of the 3 doors in the back. In didn't work well pulling a small trailer though, so that is why I moved out of this vehicle.

Love it

Bought this loaded vehicle in 2008 with 6200 miles on it. I now have 230,000 and still running like a champ. Have changed the oil and rotated tires regularly and done maintenance as needed. No problems with front end alignment at all. It looks good, rides comfortably and has plenty of room for passengers or cargo. Seats six comfortably and seven if you're not going a long distance. The only thing that really has bothered me is the cheaply made remote keying units. I've had to replace them three times now. But overall, this has been, and continues to be, a really good investment.

Nice - But,

I like the Uplander, but I did have some problems. Doors locked me out, with keys inside, running motor. Found corrosion in door connectors. End gate rattles in cold weather, found hard rubber shock cushions. Good power, 3.9 L, Nice ride, love cruise control lever with gloved hands.
