LOVE:)
My car is now a year old and has about 15,000 miles on it. It is fast, handle nice, and the gas mileage for a 6 cylinder is pretty good - 21-25 city and 34 on the highway. The car feels safe and is very comfortable and QUIET for a small car. Love not having wind noise or clunky cheap plastic interior. I have had a lot of different cars from honda to chevy to jeep and this is the best car yet. In fact, this is the first car that I want to keep for a long time.

Nicely styled utilitarian convertible.
Review is for a 2011 Chrysler 200 Limited Convertible with all the options (V-6 engine, hardtop, Boston Acoustics speakers, and 730N Navigation system). I bought this car because I wanted a nice convertible that had a large trunk, with the top both up and down, and the 200 fulfills that need. It only has about 5K miles on it and has been a good car thus far. It's rather stylish inside and out and Chrysler did a good job restyling it from the former Sebring design. Seats are supportive but rather hard. Back seat is more useful as an extended package shelf rather than a place to put 2 adults. Interior controls are mixed bag - some are just inexpensive and plastic-feeling, while others feel a bit more substantial - this area could use some design improvement. The Navigation/Entertainment system seems overly complex to use, but that's typical for most cars these days. You will have to acquaint yourself with the 502 page Owners Manual. Fuel economy with the V-6 averages about 25 mpg in mixed use regular fuel driving. Performance with the V-6 is quite good at 283 HP, no disappointments there. Ride is fairly firm and comfortable in normal driving. Rear window view is pretty small and narrow due to top mechanism, so you need to be careful upon backing up. Top mechanism takes about 30 seconds to raise or lower and so far has worked flawlessly. It can be lowered remotely from the key fob also. Trunk lid is very heavy because it is so large (to cover entire top mechanism), so your biceps will get a workout when you lift it up. I see the Chrysler Limited as a nicely styled utilitarian convertible that fits my needs. Perfect for going on either day or week-long trips with 2 occupants in the front seats.

HORRIBLE!
I am overly suprised at the great consumer reviews this car is getting!!! This is the absolute worst car I've ever owned. So many problems! It first started within 200 miles I had to have the transmission replaced! As I was crossing an intersection it completely went out. I had to restart the car and put it back in drive to get out of the way of incoming traffic. How embarrasing and most importantly TERRIFYING! I still feel there are problems with the transmission, ex. hard shiffting. Next problem was in the winter when the heat was turned on a foul odor of fish came through the vents -four people noticed the smell as well. Again, how imbarrasing! Other problems: Loud engine idle, sounds like engine knocking (and yes the oil has been changed by Chrysler dealerships at the recomended times); passanger seat feels broken -normal "stop and go" you can feel and hear a part on the inside move around; driver side interior door handle often sticks and feels like your going to break the handle in order to get out; breaks squeal as I put the car in reverse in the morning; Rotors feel worn (wheels and steering wheel wobble when the breaks are applied) and this started when the car had only 7K miles on it; I feel like a lot of pressure has to be applied to the breaks in order to keep the car stopped - I'll often be stopped at a light and notice I'm rolling while I have the break pressed; and finally there is a sound of air coming in from somewhere when driving (sounds like the window is slightly cracked but it's not). Other complaints - Seats are very hard and stiff; Gas mileage is not as great as I was told it would be (I'm only getting 24.5 on hwy when suggested is 31, 4cyl); serious lack of leg room in back seat; trunk is small; interior just feels and looks "cheap." I've also read the toxicity levels in the interior of this car are extremely high, wonder if that had to do with the "fish" smell... As you can tell I'm overly unsatisfied with my Chrysler 200. If it weren't for the fact I was carrying over 10 years and three cars worth of rollover when I bought this car, I would've traded it after the trans issue! I had absolutely no problems with my '08 Mercury Milan! 85K mi no complaints, no issues, and no replacement of any parts! I should've kept it! I have a complaint call into Chrysler now, so we'll see what they say. I understand I could've got a "lemon," and maybe that's why I'm the only with complaints and/or problems - why me...

Worst thing I have EVER driven
I got my 2012 Chrysler 200 LX new. After 9000 miles the whole car starts falling apart. First the trans starts to shift weird. Then the tire pressure starts to drop in rear left tire. and now my turning signals are locking up. I have owned 3 other cars a 1999 lincoln navigator, still have it with 200k+ miles and runs great, a 2012 Subaru Outback which is my sons and let me tell you that thing run great, and now this piece of junk. Hope I can get a good trade in deal for it.

Chrysler turns the corner
Purchased my 200 Limited on February 25, 2012. It is equipped with sunroof, V6,Leather Interior, NAV,DVD,CD player. I have driven this vehicle from Colorado Spings,CO to Albuquerque, and back. The highway mileage was 31.5 driving down and 31.8 driving back... the car only has 1200 miles, this should still improve as the engine is broken in more. I opted for the V6 over the 4cyl for power in the mountains, and was worried about fuel economy... I was pleasantly surprised! City mpg is 21-24. My only complaints are a smaller passenger cabin, i.e, little head room(I am 5'9'), and the gauges are a little obstructed on the left side of the dash... perhaps more centering is needed or smaller bezels that encircle the gauges.. especially the fuel gauge. Otherwise, it handled very well, especially over Raton Pass and possess plenty of power. Just wish the trunk was a little larger. From the outside it looks like a mix between a BMW and an Audi. Again, biggest concern is lack of head room, dash alignment... otherwise, seems to be a very good car, more time will tell.

Love My Chrysler 200!
I spent 4 days comparing the Chevrolet Malibu with the Chrysler 200. On paper, they are nearly identical in all dimensions, so it really came down to a matter of price for me. The Chrysler 200 ended up being about $2K less than the Malibu, so I purchased it. I preferred the exterior looks of the Malibu, but everything else about the Chrysler 200 has made me smile. The car rides and handles extremely well. I like the feeling that I am sitting "up" in the car and the lumbar comfort is perfect. The interior looks "rich" compared to the Malibu. It has the Penta Smart engine (no timing belt) and I'm getting about 25 mpg in the city. The engine is powerful and makes it easy getting on the freeway. Visibility is excellent all around the car and the trunk is large. I've had it nearly 2 months now and I'm glad I made the purchase.

Gas hog
I rarely get 22 mpg on the highway which is most of my driving (advertised 29) and only get 14 if I have to stop at a light or stop sign. I am an older person and do not accelerate hard and am not using the air conditioner. I am not in stop and go traffic. They did a diagnostic and tried to blame the poor gas mileage on my driving habits. I have only had the car 3 months and am ready to get rid of it. There are trucks out there that get better gas mileage than I am.
