Looks but no bite!!!!

I rented this vehicle for over a week. I had the Touring 4 cylinder. It seems like it did not like to hold speed on a small incline. I previously owned an 05 Altima and never had to smash the pedal to keep my speed on a small incline. This vehicle loves to sip on fuel also. The pros is I love that it had the aux for your mp3/cell phone/etc...good ride (smooth). Radio seems a bit confusing even though I did not spend alot of time trying to figure it out. Great features, direction, mpg city-hwy, miles to go before empty. Stereo functions and mpg information on back of the steering wheel. Took me a little while to get use to it. Overall, this is not the vehicle for me. Good luck for those who view this vehicle differently.

More Hype Than Heat

I rented a new Chrysler 200 sedan for a 650 mile round trip, mostly highway drive. Intrigued by the compelling TV ads of this car rolling thru Detroit neighborhoods and catching everyone's eye, I chose it over a roomier and more familiar Nissan Altima. Wish I hadn't. The 4 cyl I had was badly under-powered, making highway entrance ramps a scary proposition. The engine whines heavily when pushed and seems to struggle at times even in routine city driving. Interior is so-so, outer styling smaller than advertised -- this is hardly a midsize sedan. This car is definitely no competition for the Hyundai Sonata or time-tested Accord/Camry choices.

Excellent Mid-Size

Traded in a six year-old Chrysler 300 Limited for the 2012 200 S over a week ago. After working as a mechanic for many years, and being a perfectionist, I can honestly say this is one of the best cars to come out in the last few years. I looked at and test drove American and Import mid-size including Ford, Toyota, Honda, and Chevy. I got much more for my money with this car, and the performance is better than the rest of the pack. It's hard to keep my foot off the accelerator with the 283 HP. Plus, it is really quiet inside. The leather seats on the "S" with the suede inserts are elegant, and very comfortable, even on long trips. Mileage around town for me (mix of highway and city) has been 25.5 for the first week. Navigation system is excellent and the Garmin system that shows local gas prices is cool. The Boston Acoustics stereo is very clean and the 40GB hard drive holds all of my music - no need to hook up the iPod, even though the Bluetooth streaming from my iPhone is very easy to use. I can tell all of my friends that this is an American car (my daughter-in-law thought it was a BMW), and I'm proud to support the UAW. They are building extremely high quality products (even though Consumer Reports still only likes Japanese - I am convinced they haven't bothered to really test this car). Highly recommended. And the price is great with the $3,000 rebate.

200 S=Not a bad ride

I normally prefer sports cars (or anything with a nice V-8) but I wanted a car that would be could good on gas , but also be a V-6 so I wouldn't have V-8 withdraws, and save on insurance. So I started looking four door sedans. I liked the Dodge Avenger R/T and felt it had sporty look, but I went for the 200 S since it was easier on the eyes. Interior is nice and the S model comes with leather seats, with cloth around seat warmers, strange mix but comfortable. Styling looks good. Easy to use display and well placed stering wheel controls. Plenty of truck space. Good size engine with 283 hp and 260 lbs of torque. Good handling. And pricing was exactly would you'd see on line. And I like the sunroof. The only two draw backs I have with car are that it still looks like a seabring, but it is far better and with all the improvements. And that it does have some torque steer when you floor the car. And I have gotten over 29 mpg (recommended highway mileage) on drives for 30 miles, otherwise, it sticks to 22 city/highway average. Overall, a good car that you can use for fun.

My 1st car

I've had this car for about 4months now. My parents never really liked american made cars but I convinced them otherwise. The car overall is excellent. Mine has the 30gb hard drive sirius satellite radio and the LED lighting on the inside is just awesome!! Also a heads up, in my Limited model, only the driver seat is power adjustable... The back is pretty roomy as well and my friends who are 6 feet and up have no problem fitting. I don't like the way that the back end is shaped though. People think that this car would be slow or is simply a "family car" but I disagree. This car gets up and moving if it needs to w/ the 283 HP 3.6 litre pentastar engine. I have never gotten the advertised 29mpg. On average I get about 21mpg with a mix of highway and local. Sorry for the sloppy review format as I did it off of my phone. hope this helps (:

Over all nice car

I bought this ride and it is very nice and all that it's suppose to be. But one problem. The display for photo's. They down load easy but only stay in the system for about a day then they are gone. I have taken to a dealer and they can't find anything wrong with it. Anyone had this problem?

LOVE MY CHRYSLER 200

I purchased a 2012 Chrysler Touring a few month ago. The inside and outside is very stylish, I still love looking at it and thinking, thats MY car! I dont know how I ever lived without climate control, keeps me from always messing with the temperature. I aslo like all the other features this vehicle has to offer. Ive been averaging 28 mpg and I have mixed city and hightway driving on my way to work. It does snow a lot where I live and I have not had any promblems on our icy and slushy roads. My sister in law also purchased the 2011 Chrysler 200 the same day as I bought mine, and she is just as much in love with it as I am. We are very pleased with our purchases!

Refined and flawless

Enjoying our new bright pearl red '12 Chrysler 200 Limited for its ride comfort, powerful Pentastar V6, room, handling and styling. Traded in a 2008 Ford Fusion SEL and find the 200 to offer better quality, refinement, reliability and looks. The leather interior of the new Chrysler models (200, 300, Town & Country) are first rate, including that of our 200 sedan. I feel very safe in the 200. The large Garmin navigation system and over-sized screen and voice controls make getting around without being distracted while driving by having to look at the navigation screen is a must. Ford's 2011-12 system did not work properly on the two demos we test drove prior to deciding to buy the 200 sedan (there is also a sharp looking convertible/coupe). There are no loose parts and everything is flawless, from exterior to interior, to under-the-hood and with its ease of operation and 32 miles-per-gallon fuel economy. The sporty elegance of the color combination (Candy Apple red exterior/Black leather interior) draws praise where ever we go. We always owned Fords, Mercurys and Lincolns but after purchasing a 2011 AWD Chrysler 300 Limited last year (trading in our 2009 Lincoln MKZ with all-wheel-drive) and loving it, we were drawn to Chrysler for replacing our Fusion and never have we been happier with our choice in cars. We looked at the Dodge Avenger, as well, but the 200 is more graceful in appearance and ride.

Deceptive pricing

Price depicted is deceptive. It involves all possible factory rebates that the average buyer will not qualify. Sales techniqiue are not exactly on the up and up. I purchased the car and looking to dump it as soon as possible. Yeah i baught it and still fill like a total chump.
