2015 Chrysler 200
Two years ago I made the largest finacial mistake I've ever made. I bought a Chrysler 200. I know new cars lose value off the lot and was prepared for that. However FCA failed to follow one simple buisness principal supply and demand. They over produced this car as if it was going to take over the mid sized family sedan category in its first year. Because of this they had way too many 200's and couldn't sell them without devaluing them with huge rebates on a already cheaper car. Then the company decides they simply can not afford to have this car in their line up and announce its end a year before it is actually set to end. Now any of us who were dumb enough to buy the car new have seen its value drop 3x its original msrp. And 2 year old car that can't even fetch $10,000. I've owned mine for 1.5 years and have lost more money then any car I've ever owned. The driving experience similar to a 90's Ford Taurus.. Ok maybe not that bad but it's not good and not enjoyable the transmission is the worse I've ever experienced shifts rough more often then smooth. The interior looks nice but holds up worse then aluminum foil in a strong wind. I really have very few positives in regards to this car. I'm now hoping I can pay it off before it dies wish me luck!

I must've gotten a dud, but...
Hard to believe the great reviews, here. Got put into one of these for a month when some dope rammed my '14 Kia Forte EX and it needed body work. Outside looks okay, sleek and all, but the inside is a mess: This thing has one of those turn-knob gear changers, which I have seen before, but will always think are a bad idea; obviously, a kid can mess with it and, in the case of the 200, it is in a very-poorly located instrument panel adjacent to other knobs for radio volume control, tuning, and climate control...I mean, even the driver can flub up something if not looking down (which, to do so, is unsafe). The transmission on this thing is awful. Since mine is a rental, one could chalk that up to other drivers going hard on it, but the one I drove only had 15k miles. The torque is supposedly higher than my '14 Kia by about 20 pts, but it accelerates like an '82 Dodge Omni and is embarrassingly loud in doing so. The touchscreen in the car is a nice touch, especially since it has a back-up cam, and the options on the odometer screen (and the blue color) are nice. Again, this might be due to a previous driver, but the radio sounds terrible at higher volumes, have to turn it to barely audible or get a bunch of crackling. In summary, I must say it's hard to believe this is a Chrysler product. 10 years ago, I'd think I was crazy saying a Kia, Hyundai, or Subaru is better than a Chrysler; but that seems to be the case, here. No wonder they discontinued these 200s.

Phenomenal Car
I'm absolutely thrilled with my 2015 Chrysler 200c. It's stunning to look at, both inside and out, and it's an EXTREMELY comfortable car. It gives you that cushy luxury car feel. I love that even the base models have a stunning interior and exterior!! But the "c" trim like mine is truly something to cherish!!! Mine has had only two issues, and they were just VERY minor recalls. I've never had an issue other than that. I also love the performance. For a 184 hp 4 cylinder, it feels as times as if it's a 6 cylinder. While driving around town gives you a smooth and luxurious ride, the power is certainly there when you need it, or just want it. I was mind blown when I read that Chrysler is cutting the 200 from production permanently. I don't understand why it doesn't sell more than it does!! The warranty is another huge selling point!! My grandpa put it best when he said that if you were to slap on a luxury car logo to replace the Chrysler logos, he wouldn't think twice! The sound system is amazing too!! Mine has the standard one instead of the Alpine, and it still sounds INCREDIBLE. Overall, this is by far my favorite car on the market today. That's coming from an avid car fanatic too. The overall experience is really something special.

The Car I Love
I bought my Chrysler 200 limited with the 2.4-liter in January 2016 as a used car. I found out three days later that it was a smokers car. All I did was change the cabin air filter and it smells nice. I have had this car for almost a year and I love this car. It looks amazing from every angle. I recommend the Vivid blue purl as this color is beautiful. The interior is very cool, all the controls are easy to use. The center console slides which is very handy for holding milk, you can fit a gallon of milk in the console. Speaking of space, the trunk is very roomy, I can fit two trash cans in it. The front seats have a lot of headroom, I'm 6' 4" and I sit comfortably. The back seats don't have as much though. The engine and transmission work very smoothly. The shifter takes some time getting used too, but It's very luxurious looking. The car is sturdy, I found this out when I was rear ended by a Chevy Silverado 2500 with a snow plow attachment. It held up really good, it needed a new absorption bar and a new bumper. Overall this car is unique and I love it.

Transmission issue w new 9 speed
The car is great other than that 9 speed transmission. Between 2nd and 4th it is very temperamental. Almost like it gets confused on where it wants to be.

Do Not Waste Your Money!
I have had my 200 for two years and have had nothing but trouble with it. I had to have a new engine put in it. A thousand miles after the new one was put in it is having problems.

Tech Saavy?
I'm not clear on the tranny/shifting thing. I bought mine used with 30,000 miles in August 2016. It's blue with white and woodgrain interior. I love the powerful engine, classy interior, and beautiful ride. I'm not tech savvy and have struggled to learn how to use everything. I feel like I need to sit down and take a class for several hours to learn how to use things; like the levers at back of steering wheel, close and close automatic stopping (I believe the car stopped in an intersection when I misjudged the yellow light and it went to red), and the whole gear shifting thing. I do feel very classy in this car. It's beautiful. Thank you Chrysler for designing a car just for me.
