Great car for a little money

This was not the car I was initially looking for, however, after a drive and seeing how low the price was, I bought it. Definitely get the 6 cylinder engine, powerful and still energy efficient!

Avengers Assemble

I bought my black 2.6l V-6 Avenger a few weeks ago after trading in my pontiac G-6, a car that I hated! And I haven't stopped smiling yet. The car drives amazing, the handling is crisp and precise. The power from the engine is surprising and fun. I haven't had any problems passing anybody yet. Its a joy to drive and the body style looks sleek yet aggressive

First new car

Good styling, not the same old cookie cutter. Performance is adequate for a 4 cylinder. I really like smokin' burnouts but I need to save that for my truck. Controls are easy to reach and use. The blue tooth feature is nice for the wife. Handling and ride are good. Plenty of room with a good sized trunk. The back windows retract all the way and no buffeting when the windows are open. That just bothers me in other competitors models. I like to turn the air off and open the windows. Had to get an Avenger before they are discontinued next year.

First New Catr

Owned a couple Stratus' with the 2.4 so I knew what I wanted. When Dodge announced the end of the Avenger, I knew I had to buy one. Test drove a Fusion for 800 miles and was not impressed. I like the Dodge styling and reliability. Gas mileage could be better, but I can buy a lot of gas with the cost savings compared to other's in its class. The blue tooth feature is nice for the wife. Rear windows go all the way down. Dash board controls are convenient and easy to use. Interior is roomy and seats are comfortable.

sporty for what you pay

first, dont let the first negative review through you! I am not super tall, buy im not short! I have all my friends ride with me in my car, leg room? dont question it! while my friend is 6'2 he comfortably fits in the back seat while I drive! and my son also sits in his car seat behind me with plenty of room. the one and only issue I have is fuel milliage. I wish it were better, I got the se v6, and while im averaging 320 miles a tank from full to empty I feel I coulf do better. one "benifit" is the car seems to do a lot better when driving with ac on instead of off, I took a weekend trip and drove all weekend with the ac running without having to fill up, 2 hrs there and back plus tourist driving. I say get the car!

2013 Dodge Avenger

I do have to admit that for a small to mid-size car it so far has had a smooth ride. I bought a brand new SE V6. Most of the new vehicles I test drove were like being on a skate board. Not too much road noise when going down the highway. Seems to have some puch in the accelerator. Disappointed in the interior space. I have to put the front seats all the way forward to accomodate a childs feet in a car seat or booster in the back. The back seat looked big but most definately isn't! Very disappointed in the trunk as it appears big but is not. Most large items don't go in the opening and because the whole trunk is flat on one leval everything slides and moves around when driving. When the kids move in their seats in back the whole car 'moves'. Sort of annoying. No cubby or storage space for anything!!! And that is an understatement. My biggest complaint there is that I can't put a trash bag in it because there is no place to put it. The center console is so small you can't hardly put anything in it. My absolute biggest complaint is POOR FUEL MILEAGE. Had the car 3 weeks and on the first tank with mostly highway miles I got 19 mpg. With only in town driving on second tank I got 11 mpg! Getting ready to take on 3000 mile trip, better see some huge improvement! Will repost my results. Currently would suggest this is a car for a single person that doesn't require much room and who does higway driving as opposed to in town only.

Sporty 4 banger

I'm just passing a year with my 2010 SXT 4 banger and I took it down south right after I bought it. I couldn't be happier with it's performance and since I travel long didtance only every other year now, I figured the 4 would be enough. Hope to have it for a few years.

awesome pick up

I absolutely love my new dodge avenger. When passing on the highway, it is important to have the control and the fast pick up I have with this car. This is the best car I have ever owned! We also appreciate the room we have, and don't feel all boxed in, but very comfortable!
