A+ Comfort and Satisfactory MPG
This is the first sedan that I truely feel safe and comfortable in. It is more than roomy, the interior is very sleek, and I'm proud to have people get in my car. For a 4 cylinder it has guts. The only complaint I have us that the front passenger door is rough to close, it has to be closed very hard to latch. And I've noticed recently after driving almost 10,000 miles it sometimes changes gears rough, and it can be very jerky when it does this. I am thinking of taking it in for this reason. I would recommend driving one. I'm very happy with it.s

Great car!
I bought this one year after I bought my wife a Chrysler 200S. It looks great. I bought an SE with Chrome Clad wheels and it looks awesome. It is not a Camry or Accord, it is a guys car. If your a soccer mom or dad, its not for you. If you want something sporty, get this car. It is sporty and fun to drive.

Do not listen to the "Experts"
Just purchased a 2013 R/T new. Let me tell you something... this is a great car, especially for the price. The 3.6 liter delivers tremendous performance while providing excellent fuel economy. I took a 240 mile round trip the day after I bought the car and averaged 31.6 highway MPG. The ride is smooth and the cabin is unbelievably quiet even at highway speeds. The interior/exterior styling is excellent, with the hood to fender stripes, r/t badges, the spoiler, the red accent stitching and touch screen entertainment system. The trunk is bigger and rear leg room is better than advertised by the negative ratings. Throw in a free year of satellite radio and youve got a vehicle that in my opinion outperforms the fusion, camry and altima.

best car for the buck
Looked at several mid size cars all looked the same (sneaker on wheels look) the Avenger stood out nice looks , comfortable and an unbeatable price. The Avenger SE with V6 motor is quicker then most 70s muscle cars and beats anything in its class and price. Don't listen to the magazine reviews drive it for yourself. Steering mounted Audio controls are the best I have ever used, no fumbling to find. Gas mileage is a respectable 30 on the highway better then the sticker. Affordable, comfortable, power to spare and mileage. Perfect combination Dodge nailed it.

Impressive looking vehicle
I purchased a 2013 RT used with 1,100 miles on it...Deal of a lifetime. Anyway, I am middle aged and wanted to purchase something with a bit of muscle but not a V8. This car was perfect for that means, It is very good looking with black paint and 18 inch rims, amazing how much the R/T series dresses up an average looking Avenger base. It rides very smoothly on the interstate with plenty of power for passing. It is a little jumpy in the city but not a big problem. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 golf bags fit in the trunk just fine. The Uconnect Navigation and stereo is top notch and easy to navigate. Great car Dodge!

What a great car
this has been a great car. it cruses like my Cadillac did and is even smoother of a ride. it has great power and good fuel economy. the seats are comfortable and the back seat has lots of room. the trunk in this is huge which is a plus and the back seats fold down so even better for hauling. over all this car gets two thumbs up and i would defiantly recommend this car.

Hate it!
I would rather drive my dodge truck or 1994 dodge Intrepid instead of this thing. I am not saying its all bad because gas mileage is great but the performance of this car in a town setting driving 20 to 40 mph. Is horrible. It jumps and changes gears so often you can't keep it steady. Don't put a hyper child in the back seat either cause if they move around the car moves with them and feels unstable. I bought this brand new after driving an Intrepid for 19 years. It's 2 weeks old and we are talking about how son we can get rid of it. With the 3.6 v6 it has great power and good for distances but not city driving at all. It has me stresses more than my teenager!

A beast
I originslly was looking for a charger, but knowing I wanted navigation and all of the extras, the charger fell out of my budget of 28k for a car. I then looked at the Avenger. I knew I did not want a 4 banger. I wanted a v6 so I looked at the performance of the v6 Avenger. I was impressed with its 0-60 time and the packages. I wanted to get a sxt with a v6 with nav or the r/t. I ended up getting the sxt. The v6 is awesome and is highly recommended if you are looking for more kick then a 4 banger. There is some torgue steer when accelerating hard, but if you are accelerating hard, you should be grabbing the wheel anyways so this is a minimal issue at best. I am getting 21.5 mpg and that is 95% city and in stop and go commutes. I have the 6.5 inch touch screen navigation which is great and has sirius radio and travel link to give you fuel prices and the distance to the staiton, places to eat, shop, and sleep. This car is solid and I installed a 12 inch subwoofer for extra kick and because it has a high mperage alternator there are no issues. This car gets a bad rep for being a Chrysler product but it is one of the best cars I have purchased.

Pleasantly surprised
I am also going to say to NOT listen to the professional reviews of this car. I just don't understand how fuel economy and trunk space are "cons". This car is really well balanced and does everything well. The value for the dollar is unmatched by any other competitor and I recommend you go and try one out if you are looking for a midsize. They are giving incredible deals on these and the incentive is excellent. I got the blacktop edition and I've never noticed more people look at a vehicle of mine until this one. Very satisfied.

So far, I'm really satisfied
I received excellent treatment at the dealership. I entered without a specific vehicle I wanted. The salesman asked me for my "requirements". He said he'd like to show me a vehicle that would interest me. He brought out the Avenger. The rest was history. I loved the car and when we discussed price I was astounded. Compare the Avenger to the Chrysler 300 or 200. What a difference. Also, the finance manager was very cooperative and honest.
