My Journey
I've had my Journey for10 months now.I have added a lot of chrome on it and it looks good .But the over all of the vehicle interior is cheap plastic all around, the rear mirror never closes maybe it will open for a while before it falls all the way down. The radio speakers satellite radio is a plus the 19in chrome wheel cover are nice. And long shopping trips are great even with a car seat if no one is tall and you have a 3rd row. In all I LOVE my Journey and so far no one has the same color in my town that even great after 10 months and driving in 3 states.

Great Crossover
I have owned several Chrysler vans, also a Toyota van and Honda CRV. The Journey is a great vehicle with almost the interior space as a van and rides and handles far better on the road than the CRV. We purchased our Journey SXT in April, have gone on two long road trips, now have 11,000 miles on the vehicle, and we are very happy with its performance, mileage on the road was better than advertised. We especially enjoy the size of the vehicle for handling, the smaller steering wheel is a plus. The seats are comfortable, the fabric is nice in the SXT, and we can get grandkids in the third seat when necessary. We love our Journey and our sales and service people at our local dealership have been fantastic! Dodge got it right this time!

New car is in the shop?
I had my Dodge Journey 2 weeks before the check engine light came on and it was in the shop getting the catalytic converter replaced. I just don't expect to have these kinds of problems with a new car. I have a feeling this will not be a last visit to the shop...

Great vehicle
I have had this car for three months now and have put 8000 km on it so far. I have driven it on long trips and got better gas milage than advertised. It is a a very confortable, safe reliable vehicle which is why I bought it. Chyrsler has been getting a lot of negative reviews lately and I can tell you that this is the forth vehicle I have owned from this company and all of them were safe reliable vehicles. So keep up the good work boys and I will keep on buying your products.

A new car shouldn't have new car jitters...
I have had the Journey SXT FWD 3.5L V6 for 5 months. Lots of pick-up but shifts hard. Had a problem with the trans after two months. Was told it was "new car jitter" and it shut down itself to protect itself - whatever that means. Nothing to fix, just reset the computer and off they sent me... Lots of room, but kid/backseat drop-down mirror is junk. Got a good deal on trade in but not sure the car is worth what I paid.

A Journey well taken
I've had my Journey SXT for 12 months and I still can't find anything wrong with it! After having the opportunity to drive a couple of these as rentals while on business travel I became an ardent admirer of the car. Mine has the V6 which has more than adequate power and an actual 19 mpg in the city and about 24 on the highway. I have driven the 4 cylinder versions and felt that they were under powered. That is why I chose the V6. The ride, handling, fit, trim and countless storage spaces stashed throughout the cabin will convince even the toughest critics. True, it is not an ultra-luxury-status-symbol-land-yatch, but for less than $27k it stands at the top of it comparable peers. The oprional remote start feature really comes in handy and the U-Connect Bluetooth cell phone option is one of the best I have experienced.

Not the best overall but good car
First of all the pros. Love the looks of the SXT. I have the 19" rims and roof rack as well. Also has the slightly tinted front windows. Handles very well, tires need to be replaced with better. Can't wait to put on some new tires and see how well it does. Even over rail roads the car is smooth. With the 19" tires the car is alittle more hard to steer in parking lots. (Drove another sxt with 17" wheels while waiting on our sxt and there is a big difference.) Overall the car is very smooth ride like i would expect a luxury car to be. The features with the radio are very nice. Love the Satellite radio and being able to insert 6 cds. Being able to have 7 seats is awesome. Was able to take 6 people and have one seat folded down to put all luggage for the short trip to the airport. -The cons which are mostly small just mostly but can be annoying. The comfort with the arm rest is not good. My elbows were sore since I usually rest them on the arm rest on the door and middle for long trips. The hard plastic for that was a bummer. Going to look into getting some kind of pad for that. The interior pieces are cheap. The mirror flap on the passenger side sun visor already broke. The rear veiw small mirror in the roof does not usually work when you try and stop it to see your kids in the back seats. Also the pocket in the middle on top of the dash usually has a very hard time closing. The biggest problem i have is that for us we have 3 kids and one in a rear facing car seat. There is just not enough room to put the car seat on either side of the second row. Since we are a tall family over 6ft our seats hit the car seat no matter where we put it. Even in the middle it feels like it takes up the whole second row. Also if you have it in the middle you cant easily fold down the side seats to get the other children in the back. Now of course all this will be solved once our baby is big enough for facing forward and in a more of a booster seat but at the moment it is very much annoying. (If you have a car seat just be prepared. Its not that it dont work just not much fun to work with.) As someone else stated there is a noise of the front driver side like the tire is scrubbing in the fenderwell. Going to have them look into it. The transmission has a problem when switching between 2nd and 3rd if you light on the gas pedal.

Excellent Value
If you need a vehicle with the ability to be a commuter vehicle along with be able to handle seven passengers this is a great choice. The third row is best for small children. With the V6 in rush hour city driving I am averaging just about 19mpg. The biggest design flaw I would say is the location of the radio. It is very low on the dash. Also I am 6'5" and over 350lbs and find the drivers seat roomy even with a sunroof lots of headroom.

Great for family
My wife and i purchased our journey about 7 mths ago, and currently have 19000 kms. We really appreciate all the space we have as storage, for only 235hp it has sufficient passing power. the tranny is alittle clunky and ride noise is alittle on the high side on vary windy days(45-55km/hrs). All in all we are vary happiy with the vehicle and recommend it to new families.

Great Vehicle for the $$$
This is a great vehicle for anyone looking for a good value. Performance is good and it looks good too. If you are looking to replace your minivan this is a great option if you can't spend $35000 like me. Looked at allot of other vehicles but for the $$ this one could not be beat. The incentives, rebates & 0% financing being offered were better than any other dealership. Features were good even in the SXT model. Transmission can be a bit sluggish but nothing that takes away from overall performance. If you need 7 passenger seating & want to spend less than $25000, this is the car for you.
