biggest piece of garbage i ever owned

loved the external styling, i even put some extra mods on it, the car was a looker but the 3.5 lacked oomph, im sure if i had the hemi id be a lil more happy, interior was cheap, and forget bout driving it in the snow, ive gottin around better in my 01 lincoln ls then i did with this vehicle, mpg was even worse then my current explorer, if and i mean big if i ever get another one, awd and hemi please

The Car I Will NEVER sell

I bought the R/T model when it just reached the market still with MB CC lever and the nice black middle console, no glue why they changed it. It's more or less an old MB E Type only more Michigan style and longer and wider. The ride and drive is w/o any comparison on the US market maybe a Cadillac comes close. And besides the nice 5 Speed Automatic the HEMI gives it's best. OK the other options allow you top have better fuel consumption, maybe, but when you had the HEMI torque on the throttle you never wanne miss it. The interior is s little cheap like but very high quality in all you touch every day. If you have the choice look for the AWD version, and when there is the time to change the tires go wider, the 225 wear out quite fast, I am now on 225 in front and 255 on the back and this works out fine. It's a long car so do not expect a handling like a Audi S4 or WRX, but here in MI the curves are mostly not so tight and you still can go four times as fast as any SUV w/o the ESP starting to become active. I will never sell my Magnum as as CCG did discontinue this fantastic car I might be forced to buy a MB T Model in future to keep the milage use of my Dodge down.

One of the Best Cars I have owned

I did not get a HEMI, but am not sorry since the only difference I am aware of is the Hemi only gets you about 20 MPH on the top end and 7-8 MPG less.

I Love My Car.

I rented a 2005 dodge magnum se to drive back to michigan from chicago. I liked the way the car handled and I liked how I felt while driving it. It was that drive that convinced me to buy one. A year and a half later, I purchased a 2005 SXT (black). Unfortunately it is RWD. But I will trade up to a 2007 r/t that is, at least, a FWD model. My car handles poorly in the winter. I like the way everything is laid out in this car. I am mainly in love with the cars overall design. I do not foresee ever wanting another vehicle type. I fell in love with my dodge magnum.

Superb replacement for SUV or dull Mini-van

If you need the cargo capacity of an SUV, but prefer a vehicle that handles more like a car, then you have to take a look at the Magnum. Or perhaps if you need to haul a couple kids and a dog ( but you're way too cool for a mini-van) , this is your ride. The Magnum has great styling, a smooth ride and excellent acceleration in the SXT and R/T models. If you want the best trade-off in performance and fuel economy, get the SXT. But if you simply have to get to the mall before anyone else, then you'll need the Hemi R/T. Before settling on the Magnum, I test drove a Mercedes (which shares some parts with the Magnum), VW Passat, Audi, BMW and even a Jaguar Sport Wagon. The Magnum was quick, responsive and spacious whereas all the others involved some compromises. I wanted a car that was fun to drive, had bold styling, and could also haul camping gear, kayaks, luggage and even 2x4's if needed. This one does it all. It is also easy to get in and out of, unlike some SUV's that seem to require a stepladder. The cornering, braking and acceleration of the High Output V6 are more like the Chrysler 300D. The SXT does not have a hemi, but the horsepower is more than adequate when you need to get onto the highway quickly. I would not be so sure about the base model engine, and so I can only recommend the SXT or RT if you need a reserve of power. Car has been 100% trouble free for 40,000 -plus miles. All I have had to do was change oil and follow regular maintenance checkups. This was the first American car I have purchased in 8 years and it shows how much better American automakers have become at quality & reliability. I am constantly receiving compliments on the car, and I highly recommend it to anyone replacing an SUV or unwilling to get a mini-van.

Love It!

The first time we looked at it I thought, 'It looks weird but the price was within my buget and it has the space I want'. So I got it in and drove it! The turning radius is amazing. The V6 has plenty of power. The interior is very spacious. I put my 6'2 son-in-law in the back. He fit! His knees never hit the seat. He is also a Mechanical Engineer major and looked over the car with eagle eyes. He really wanted to test it, so we let him. He fell in love with the car. We have owned it for two years and I will not trade it in for any other car other than a new Magnum! One thing I will mention if you do not know how to drive a RWD car in the snow this is not the car for you.

One of a kind performance and options for D money

Condition of the such vehicles is the most important factor in choosing a used one. Also, one begins to appreciate such cars when the stronger(est) engine and options like navigation, CD-changer, Leather, Moonroof and bluetooth are available in the vehicle.

One of the best cars I've owned

Nothing better for long highway travel. The Mercedes engineered gearing is a great feature of this car. Have absolutely loved this thing.
