2008 Dodge Ram 1500 consumer reviews

While I do the maintenance myself, I haven't had to complete any major repairs to the vehicle and currently have 116,000 miles on it. The drivetrain hasn't required any major repair or part replacement past needing oil changes, a new battery, flush and refill of coolant.

I've enjoyed my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 I've put 30,000 miles on it since I have owned it. The truck only issue was when I needed to replace the water pump at 75,000.

Extremely reliable truck, used for commuting as well as for hauling material for my construction company. Very good looking vehicle as well.

The power of the Dodge truck is awesome and the hight is much better then Ford or Chevy .if you like big trucks then you will want a dodge.once my wife drove the truck it was sold .

Love the overall room and power. Perfect for family members that have long legs and want to stretch out

Love the ride the over all performance of this truck. Has proven it's worth in a cple. times. Wished it had more updated safety gadgets that is now in some ; like back up lights ,stopping for you /help park and exc.....

My first vehicle was my dad's old Dodge D50 - orange, small, but tough. I finally decided to get back into what I learned in and have myself a 2008 Dodge Ram. I love it! I'm enjoying every minute behind the wheel. Great performance, handling, and style. I wanted something I can comfortably transport my family in while driving in Atlanta traffic - I found it and I couldn't be happier.

I just purchased an 08 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab. It originally had one owner, the carfax report was excellent. It drives great, rides smooth. The interior is in excellent condition, no rips in the fabric, floor boards are spotless. The exterior has a few knicks and scratches, which is to be expected on any used vehicle. All in all, for it to be 9 yrs old it is in excellent condition, runs great, has a lot of power behind it. Most importantly I got it for a great price. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of it. I recently drove it from Myrtle Beach to Asheville, had absolutely no issues driving up and around the mountains. Other vehicles I've owned in the past always hesitated when climbing thru the mountains, but I made it up with ease.

1500 Quadw/8'bed. 5.7 Hemi. Bought new. Have 174,000+ miles. Issues: leaking PS pump first year, broken wires at left rear door, a/c heater module controls (no flr heat and lights out). Installed Monroe gasmatic shocks when new, removes rough ride and increases handling dramatically at low and high speeds. Keep maintained, tune-up every 80,000 miles, oil change every 10,000 miles w/full synthetic, hi-test fuel always. Only drawback has been mpg dropped from 21new to 16 now(hiway), 18 new to 12-15now (city). LOVE the power and speed! My 3rd Dodge Ram PU !

I bought this 2008 ram 1500 2 wheel dr wit 229000 looks brand new inside, no rust outside, under side still has paint on it. I had a 1994 dodge 1500 in 2000. I enjoy this 2008
