2012 FIAT 500C consumer reviews

With 97,000 + miles i think my 2013 500c has proven to be a good and fun car. This car has required no major repairs only regular maintenance. (I do use synthetic oil). I have driven from northwest Georgia to Texas several times also to St Louis and a couple of runs skipping around Florida. It does just fine on a road trip and is easy on gas. I love this little car.

I've owned this car for 9 years. It has 108k miles, it has never needed a repair, just basic maintenance. I live in the mtns of AZ & drive up & down mountains all the time (I travel for work). It is surprisingly roomy for cargo (2 golf bags & suitcases, 48" TV in a box!) and with front-wheel drive manages the snow very well. I love this car!

This car is much roomier on the inside than you would ever guess from looking at the outside and is extremely reliable and fun to drive. The cornering ability of the car is amazing.

Like I said I really love this car. I've had a couple new beetles so I know these small specialty cars. and this car although it looks tall it handles much better than many of its small counter parts. Certainly better than the early century beetle that I had. The car's absolutely cute as xxxx and handles like a bat out of xxxx and it is quick off the line if you know what you're doing. Reliability? What's that! I think I've just about replaced and fixed everything on that car. Including the convertible top. Please watch this also yourself if you buy a convertible and you get an extended warranty make sure it covers the top. Rag tops are often not covered. If you're in the Chicago area that you Richard Fisher Evanston Fiat guys do a wonderful job.

If I knew I had to take to dealership every time this car needs service I would have never bought it. Vavoline and other instant oil places won’t change Oil in Fiats and Mini Coops. Too many small problems with this car.

This Fiat 500c is roomy for the front seat and had beautiful interior and exterior. Love the cabriolet!! It’s perfect for driving to work - no need for a van now!

Bought this car used in great condition with no previous issues. Months into purchasing it there were transmission problems, wiring shortages, electrical problems, alternator problems. We have poured almost half of what we paid for it into this car just to keep it running. Will be trading in soon for ANYTHING ELSE. This is the worst reliable and highest maintenance car I have ever purchased. On top of all of this many body shops won't even work on it because it's a fiat, and I end up having to go to a dealer every time.

The car is a strong one of its kind, it is small and not spacious, but it most likely suits the saying that says “don’t judge a book from its cover”!

Over all I like fiat but this particular one is a xxxx box from xxxx not very safe with all electrical issues I have and the one of the worse things is I can't even trade it or get rid of it cause it is only worth about 2500 to 2000 and I owe 9000

I've had it for 4 years and it's just a great little car that puts you in a good mood. Small, agile, stylish, great mileage, head-turner, convertible, cheap repairs, easy maintenance.
