2009 Ford Expedition EL consumer reviews

Comfortable, reliable and looks great. Room for all the kids, family, friends, pets and all of their stuff too. Responsive, smooth ride. Will buy another one. Fold down third row far better than the suburban and much more comfortable.

An essential car for a family. I can't tell you how many times it has been packed to the gills. Can cart almost anything...furniture, lumber, kids, dogs, camping equipment. Additionally, you feel very safe in this car. You sit high and have a great view of the road and traffic. Superior leg room both front and back. Great for winter driving.

This car has great exterior styling, and great interior styling for being 8 years old. Reliable vehicle; has nearly 100,000 miles on it and it still chugs along. It did have an issue with the throttle body needing replaced, and the transmission could be considerably smoother, but if you work with it, this can be a very comfortable vehicle...with the exception of the back seat. There's no support, they're very stiff, although legroom is comfortable. Overall, comfortable cruising vehicle on the highway and it handles well, although that's what one would expect for the price. Brand new, these things are Mercedes-type money. 8/10 would recommend to a friend.

Purchased the 09 Exp-EL new and have had very little go wrong with it. Overall the Ford has outperformed expectations, been a pleasure to own and kept my family safe in many situations. No reason to get any other kind of SUV-5 Stars in my book.

This is my 3 rd Expedition I haven't had any problems at all.. I own a limousine company and they are real work horses... quick note I did buy an 2010 Suburban however the Expedtion is better overall
