terrible seat design. cuts off circulation, lost
bought a new 2012 f250weeks ago. But now very dissapointed. The new seat design for the 2012 cuts off circulation to legs, they have eliminated the forward tilt adjustment to the seat, not allowing the seats to tip on the front edge, only pivots from the rear. my leg and toes go numb. I actually want to sell or return the vehicle. Ford does not offer a solution and states thats their design. Ive driven ford trucks for the past 15 years and currently reverted back to driving my old truck. f150. Ive compared seats with other previous 250s and 150s and they clearly eliminated adjustments. on the new f250s. Peripheral circulation is cut off dont buy this truck because of the seat design being so poor. Other people have driven the truck and without mentioning it to them the noticed the same poor design...Any answers or suggestions?
What was that?
You may hear yourself saying, "what was that?" after you drive over top of a Dodge truck in this behemoth. The F250 Super Duty is a beast...and that's exactly what I was looking for. I can haul it, tow it, out run it, off road it, and even take it out on the town. This beast is also a beauty...everyone loves my truck; especially me.
GREAT TRUCK
I HAVE OWNED THIS TRUCK FOR ABOUT A MONTH. THE TRUCK PERFORMES VERY WELL. IT RIDES NICE , IT LOOKS GOOD AND IS JUST A GREAT TRUCK TO OWN. I HAVE OWNED OTHER 4X4s AND I CAN SAY THIS ONES THE BEST. IF I COULD CHANGE ONE THING IT WOULD BE TO MAKE IT EAISER TO SHIFT FROM 4X4low TO 4X4 HIGH.
I love this Truck !!!!!
I just got back from pulling my 28 ft 5th wheel from central California to Oregon ,what a joy this truck was. It was almost like the 5th wheel wasn't there behind me and before that I pulled my 5th wheel over Sonora Pass hwy 108 in California. If you have ever been over this stretch of hwy that has 17% to 26 % grades at 10,000 ft of elevation you would understand how impressive this truck is......This is one bad truck ! Plus I got great fuel economy to boot ! 2012 F-250 Lariat extended/cab 4x4 diesel 8ft bed
what a truck!!!!!!!!!
after 40+ years of buying various vehicles from chevy suburbans 4x4's to ford wagons, volvos and vw's, this 2012 F-250 lariat crew cab/4x4 diesel is by far one of the best vehicles i have ever owned. Fit and finish are supurb and the ride is great--very quiet ( a ton of sound dampening material) and not squeak or rattle one. It has 400hp, tons of torque and good fuel milage (21-22hwy & 18city) & and 17mpg pulling a 6000lb trailer at 65mph hwy speed all for a truck weighing 350lbs shy of 8000lbs.
Awesome Truck
Great pulling power, smooth, great ride. Excellent fuel mileage 21 hwy, 16.5 city. The only downside are the emissions systems, they are EPA mandated and if anything in the system malfunctions or you run out of DEF fluid the truck will go into limp (restricted to 50mph) mode and eventually idle only. Leave it to the government to take a fantastic truck and ruin it!
F2506.7L First Month Review
So far a great truck. Without a doubt the best I have owned! 6.7 Liter provides ample power and over the road MPG is 20 to 21. In town is around 18 MPG. Seats and dash comfortable and "operator friendly". I have already put 3000 plus miles on this truck with no incidents. Very pleased! Expensive but well worth it!
F 250 Review after 30 days
The performance of the 6.7 Super Duty is truly grand. But the design of the interior falls short. There is no cubbie holes, ash tray, or storage bins in the dashboard what so ever. There is no rear dome light in the extended cab. I belive the guy that designed the inside never was allowed to take the truck home for the weekend to work out the kinks. Ford dropped the ball on the interior.
2012 F250
Great truck so far. Shifting hard from 1st to 2nd gear some times or 2 sec. delay between gears. Great truck mpg is around 13 in city and 15 to 16 highway. 6.2L gas engine
