Miss my Cummins so far.

Everything is nice but the mileage and the absolutely ridiculous fuel tank capacity of 25 gal. I just cannot believe Ford would do that knowing what the mpg would be. Highway driving, you are limited to about 4 hrs of drive time or less.Have a hard time staying in the 14s with a soft foot. Mileage is very important to me. This is my first Ford and i really regret it and wish I could return it. Purchased used with low miles. 2016 F250 Platinum. Can't imagine how bad the mpg will be when I actually have to pull something. Figured the mpg on paper and it was 14s also.

I work out of my truck and has exceeded my expectations , it has way less emissions problems then my Dodges. Lots of power and stability for towing .

This truck is a BEAST

As a die hard FORD truck guy, I love this truck. I have owned many F-150 & F-250 trucks over the years and all have been great. No real issues on any of them. This F-250 with the 6.7 Diesel is impressive to say the least. The HP and torque make this truck handle the work with little effort. A lot of my miles are empty / unloaded but I do pull a trailer on a regular basis. So far, the heaviest load was approx. 8,000# and it was uneventful and the truck handled it with ease. I have owned this truck now for about 18 months and covered about 40K miles. Fuel economy is not bad for the size of the truck and for it's capabilities. I don't think you will go wrong with a FORD DIESEL. Loving mine!

Why do people rate this "mule" for gas mileage??

I bought the 6.2 with 4.30 gears to pull my fifth wheel RV trailer, not for gas mileage. If I wanted gas mileage, I would by a Prius. I have a 2016 Crew cab that I just love. It does everything I expected it to do. We live in the UP of Michigan and have pilled a 12,000LB fifth wheel to California and back with no problems. I bought it to pull, not to get MPG. If you want MPG, don't buy a big truck and RV. Just common sense.

Superb Towing Vehicle

Purchased this truck to pull our travel trailer on a trip from the East Coast to Alaska and back. It was nothing less than superb. This truck was built for heavy towing and hauling, and even with the bed loaded with supplies, our 6,500 lb trailer was easy for it. The Powerstroke diesel is quiet and super powerful, the engine brake was superb at maintaining downhill speed, the six speed automatic transmission was smooth and it's tow/haul function was great. We have the Lariat trim package with a lot of luxury touches including heated/cooled/memory/power seats, a large navigation screen, premium audio and dual zone climate control Super comfortable through very cold and hot weather.

Solid Beauty

It's still new to me but so far, so good. I bought it used but very clean with only 9000 miles on it. Quite a step up in quality and comfort from my '06 F250. I expected better gas mileage, just 13.8 over the last few hundred miles. Love the styling except for maybe that grill.

It runs great and is beautiful

I love everything about it. It is fully loaded and a very comfortable ride. I purchased the F-250 Platinum and it has everything and more for a very enjoyable ride. The towing capacity is amazing and smooth. Beautiful truck from bumper to bumper.

Awesome power

Bought a used 2016 6.7 F-250 xlt with 26K miles. Had the 2001 7.3 diesel. The power in this 6 speed automatic is unreal. Towing the 9000 lb trailer up 6% grade in 4th or 5th gear, and engine is hardly working. Integrated brakes, and exhaust brake along with tow mode and rarely used the brakes down hill of the same grade. Replaced the 26 gal fuel with a 50 gal. Very quiet compared to the old diesels and quieter than the new Rams. MPG sole overall is 15-17. Towing is 10-12. You have to keep your foot out of it or the MPG drops like a rock.

Nicest riding truck I?ve ever driven

Plenty of power and towing capability, but still a great ride even when not towing. Fuel mileage isn?t bad for all the power. I?m getting just over 17 mpg.
