Great car

I love my Focus, but the only problem I have, and it's a big one, is, I think it sets too high in the back and I have a hard time seeing out the back window to back up.

Best value for the price.

I've owned a SE for about two months now and have put a little over 1500mi on it. I've gone a bit over 400 mi (hwy) on a single tank and it only cost me $31 to fill it up. It turns quickly and accurately and brakes nicely. Acceleration in good too, as long as the AC is off; it'll get a bit sluggish then! Build quality is good, with the body feeling sturdy but the interior feels a bit cheep to the touch-- The cover for the spare is just lays in the trunk and doesn't attach anywhere and the fuel cap doesn't have a lock. The steering wheel and driver seat are rather comfortable and I have been able to do a couple of 8 hour road trips without discomfort. Overall, I am really pleased with this car and plan to keep it as long as possible. It may not be an impressive car, but it definately gets the job done in an affordable manner!

Frugal Choice- Not too bad

The 07 Focus may not be the perfect choice, but, is available well equipped for around 13K after rebates, dealer discounts- The car averages 26 MPG in the city around 38 MPG on highway trips. Has been comfortable, fun to drive, goes well in the snow.. Interior is a bit on the noisy side, Ziebart spray on sound proofing helped with the noise problem. Otherwise, no quality problems, and should problems occur in the future, the Focus came standard with a 60K-100K ford warranty. So far, a very reasonable car with an affordable monthly payment..

GREAT GAS MILEAGE

This was by far the smartest decision I have made to date. Not only do I get an easy 400 miles to my tank but I also have enough room when I go shopping at Walmart. I couldn't have asked for a more efficient, comfortable car.

just ok

I'm a student short on cash, so the focus was a good choice because of the cost and mpg. If you're tall this will not be a comfortable ride for you. Granted it's better than the cobalt, but after a long ride my back was killing me. It's cheap to fix, and has great visability but it's not that smooth of a ride nor is it quiet. If you get a good deal go for it, but if you plan to spend more than $15,000, save you money.

2007 focus

About a week ago I got a 2007 silver Focus SES. I have always been a ford guy, but what attracted me to the focus was the great gas mileage. I recently took a trip to LA and it averaged 28mpg on the horrible stop and go 91 freeway. The only complaint I have is the location of the cup holders, not because it?s an incontinence but it hits my calf, but whatever I will get use to it. I rate this car a 3 out of 5

Focus Greattttt

I own a 1997 Nissian Quest, the old van was braking down so I was looking for a small car with great milegae. I lookes at three Nissian didn't really have any econmilcle cars so I went with Toyata. The Corralla was ok but it looked real cheap and my wife aggred. So my wife saied why not Ford. So I went to check out the Focus and i loved it. It gets great mileage with stick37 mpg highway. I love how you can move the driver set up and down. I didn't get that with the Sentra or Corrlla. It drives real smooth and I have no problems with it. The only thing I don't like is the back of the car is too high

ok...but....

focus had potential to be better.......interior is below par......needs lots of upgrades....... ride is sporty......nice exterior.....solid engine performance...another $1,000 in upgrades should be available......needs a plush interior....needs rear seat head (neck)protection....2008-09 american model should look at european model......seat adjustments are below par and stiff.....i intend to upgrade and customize my Focus over the next year to be more like the european version......

Great car Great price, excellent value

I love it, I purchased a 5 speed SE, and I cant believe the mileage on the first tank of gas. I live in Kansas(yep no hills), and I drive 80 highway miles a day, It worked out to 37.2 MPG. I think this car will have a home with me for a very long time. It was lacking some features I didnt notice untill I needed them, like the inside gas tank release. and some other oddities. Thanks Ford, you got this one right !
