GREAT LITTLE CAR

Real nice driving car. Sleek, comfortable, and fun to drive. Have not yet reached the Gas Mileage expected. Currently 33.3 mpg combination local/hwy. A little rough shifting at times during slow speed take-offs.

14 months in, Love it

Traded in my Acura MDX for a 2012 SE hatchback with a 5 speed and the SYNC. I love this little car! Great styling, very comfortable on long trips. Back seat is a little small but I knew that when I purchased it. I'm getting 36mpg combined, feels very sporty when driving. Only complaint it the manual transmission could use a 6th gear for highway driving, it seems to rev a little high when going 65+ mph. I've put 42,000 miles on it in the last 14 months and not one problem, I highly recommend this car.

Best Car Stereo So Far

Have the new touch screen Sony stereo. Controls all the systems in the car to including my cell phone. Great sound system, just as good if not better than my Bose in my GMC truck.

Great Car

Bought this car for my wife who pust 30k plus miles on a vehicle every year. Gas miliage is averaging around 34 with mixed highway and city driving. Got the auto transmision with the select shift but we rarely use it. Dual manual clutch auto trans is a little quirky but unlike a couple of reviewers I wouldn't call it unsafe. That's what test drives are for. The Titanium package is a little bit pricey but my wife loves the heated seats, nav system, and backup camera. The hands with Blue Tooth connectiviy works great . Styling is also outstanding for this type of car. A little small in the back seat and under the hatch but them we didn't get this as a people hauler.

Nice Car

I'm happy with it. Handles well, looks good, easy to drive. Haven't figured it all out yet, so what more can I say?

Solid Car for the Money

The handling and performance are very good for a low end car. The gas mileage has been traffic and have had complements on the overall styling. The interior is basic but functional. The dual clutch automatic transmission took me by surprise at first because it was not what I expected. However, I have grown to like it more as time passes.

A fine compact from Ford

I have driven the 2012 Focus SE for a month. The handling is excellent and I have no problems with its dual clutch transmission. I had driven MB, Volvo, Mazda, Honda, Ford, and Jeep before. This new Focus is as solid as my MB 190E, and its styling is better than most of the Japanese compact. The interior is also very pleasant and the driver seat is very comfortable.

Focused

I bought the Focus 5dr hatch for its European body design and above average fuel mileage. I got the sport package with a five speed manual shift. I have come to regret the manual shift. The car is underpowered off the line with air running and stopped on an incline I have struggled with it. I recommend the automatic. Ford put a little more thought into the auto transmission design and fuel program mapping. I have taken the car on long trips for business. It is comfortable and predictable.

One of the best

My new 2012 Ford Focus Titanium is the best car I ever owned. The European-style and Handling is fantastic. You have to drive it to really appreciate it... PS. I get over 40 mpg...

Buy Something Else

The trans in this car is unsafe. DO NOT pull out into traffic with this car. The poor shifting of the 'auto' trans ruins the driving experience. If Ford would buy this back from me I could be made happy. Wish I had kept my Civic.
