A fun and modern car to drive

I enjoy driving my Focus as it has great gas mileage and current technology that makes for a great ride. It handles really well and has a great turning radius when getting into smaller spaces. The interior is well designed and modern, which I appreciate. The stock speakers are decent and improved from earlier Ford models. Adjust the EQ a bit to add more bass and you'll enjoy it. With a few dollars for intake and exhaust modifications, my Focus regularly achieves 45 MPG on the highway and nearly 30 MPG in the city. And it's a bit faster, too. ;-) On the negative, Ford did a poor job designing the clutches in these, but luckily they warranty them out at no charge.

Affordable quick car

The Focus St I used to own was very fun to drive. Lots of torque and a sport suspsenion. It was very realiable for the 3 years I owned it. It was a very rough ride though and the Recaro seats are built only for smaller people.

Lousy Transmission & Sound System

Have had this vehicle into the dealership multiple times with one clutch replacement. Still have issues due to the lousy transmission design. Now experiencing a loud crackling noise from the sound system where it is now unusable.

Great car

This car is really great. It averages mid to upper 30's mpg. The ride is smooth. And with the Bluetooth, I can safely talk to others on the phone. One of the best cars that I've owned.

Nice car for a single "old" lady, which I am.

This car handles well on the road and I get excellent mileage. Travel quite a bit and take lady passengers with me all of the time. They are comfortable and feel safe.

Great car that fit my needs.

My Focus has proven to be a very reliable and comfortable car. Unfortunately, Ford messed up the transmissions in some 2014 cars and this was one of them...Al Packer Ford took care of the problem and everything seems good so far...it's been over a year and 40,000 miles. Overall I have been very happy with my 2014 Focus...total miles is now 140,000+ and there's many more to come!

Manual 5 speed is good Auto trans Bad

I have a 5 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic. The manual trans is better but needs a 6th gear. Automatic nothing but problems. Both are comfortable and handle great. Get the manual if you can find one and can drive it.

Reliable car with a few tweeks

I honestly do love this car a lot. It drives nice and smooth, the only issue is having to keep replacing the same part in the transmission that fails, otherwise it’s a great car to own.
