Quite pleased overall with under 1000 miles.

I previously owned a 2012 Focus SFE and loved it even with the transmission that so many folks had trouble with. I had 4 years, replaced only a battery and had 126,000 miles on it with no breakdowns or repairs. So I bought another one. This one has the updated 6 speed automatic. The 2017 is virtually identical to the 2012 but with a couple features that I didn't have before. Now there is a backup camera, cruise control (I think I had the only Focus ever made without it) and a much improved SYNC system. The 2017 handles as well, has the same great acceleration and small turning radius as the 2012. It probably won't be up to the SFE mileage, though, of 42+mpg on trips and 35 mpg around town. The 2017, with less than 1000 miles so far is giving 29.5 mpg. I also have not yet learned about Ecomode and that may make a difference. This transmission will probably not need repeated programming tweaks as the 2012 did although when I finally learned how to drive it, it performed very well. The SYNC system now either reads or displays incoming texts but wisely does not allow composition of same. One can send a few pre-programmed messages if one wants. Attaching and playing an external music device, such as my phone, is now dead easy also. Another plus are the Continental ContiProContact tires, my favorite, which have the highest wet traction ratings and are desired here in FL where the skies can open at any moment. Yeah, I like it. A negative? Not much room in the back seat. Wouldn't want to travel with 4 large people very far! But tons of trunk space! Yes, I like it.

Best car on the market for the money (my opinion).

We just recently purchased a 2017 Focus SE. It is without a doubt the best car I test drove and at a great price! The styling, ride, handling, power and gas mileage beats everything else in that category. Way to go Ford!

My first brand new car.

I love my Focus. Rides like a dream. Looks good. Easy to get in and out, even for elderly. My mom has a hard time in taller cars. I had a 2000 Focus, and always said I'd buy another, and I did.

Great features and for a price I could afford!

Really enjoying heated seats and steering wheel. Also appreciate having the Bluetooth phone feature. It handles very well and feels very ?solid.?

just bought it

I just bought it and am anxious to see how it performs. I like the features that are not always found in an economy car - the back up camera, the synch features are all new to me. I like the feel of the car - I think it will serve me well.

Ford Focus SEL

Can?t go wrong. Gets you where you need to go while being a stylish car. Haven?t had any issues as of yet! I enjoy my all black car that gets around 30 miles per gallon. It?s a killer on the highway!

Great Vehicle

I bought the vehicle a little over a month ago, and love it! Right now it's still new as I only have about 1,000 miles on it. This one came with heated seats, and prior to the purchase I was going to pass on that as an option as I've driven many years with out them. After driving it in cold weather I love the heated seats, and won't think about getting a vehicle without them now. As I've said the vehicle is still new so I've had no problems and everything is as one would expect out of a new car.
